I've been taking this for years and love the product but it is so difficult to open with the new packaging, I might switch to another brand now. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to get the top off when you first open it. Please go back to the old packaging or fix this problem!

I cannot open the lid of the new product canister. I tried brute strength, a hot wet cloth, hitting the bottom, and running it under the faucet. Nothing works. I asked a friend who is a contractor and very strong, and it took great effort for him to open it. Please fix this packaging.

I have been using this in my husband's overnight oats. Have been pleased with it but this order I received the new packaging, have any of you at the company actually tried to open this product?? I actually looked all over the container to see if there were specific instructions to open it as I could not budge the lid. Finally I Googled how to open and was brought to this page. Review after review mentions how difficult to open the new container and not one response from the company. I finally used a knife to get the top off. There is less product than before and compared to what I had left in the old style container the two were no where near the same color. Y'all need to rethink the changes you have made as I will look for a different brand.

We do like your product but do not like the fact of the game you play touting your new container by giving us less product. I guess you are like all big corporations and do not consider the buyer. We have been buying purely inspired for a long time, but if that's the way you are going to treat your customers it's time to move on. Very disappointed.

I do like this product. However, same price, but less product. The product used to be 1.5 pounds. Then dropped to 1.35 pounds and now has dropped 1.25 pounds per container. I think companies think that individuals don't look at this. It's very disappointing.

I've been using this protein powder for well over 2 years now, and it was my absolute favorite, but the recent "improved flavor" is a mistake; I don't know how to describe the horrid aftertaste it leaves other than a mix of old canned coconut and bile. On top of that, the new clear bottle is way harder to open. It still blends well and is dairy/soy free...but the old version had those properties along with tasting like a delicious vanilla smoothie. What's went wrong???

My husband and I have been using Purely Inspired Protein powder for several years. I have a lot of food sensitivities and this is a powder that I can tolerate. I have always liked the plant based ingredients and the taste. The price is very reasonable compared to other protein powders. HOWEVER the new container is absolutely HORRIBLE. We struggle every time to get the lid off. Even after fighting it to get it to turn it will then rotate a bit and get stuck again. We have to usually bang it on the counter to try and break the seal. I mean seariously an older person could not get into this. But hey, we are getting up there ourselves being in our upper 50's. If this isn't fixed soon we will have to stop buying it. I am giving 4 stars only because of the lid.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The protein was okay. I am not sure how helpful or effective it was overall. I wasn't a fan of the flavor however. I couldn't fully engage as the taste wasn't bearable for me. I tried to add and switch up ingredients to help with taste but wasn't successful.

This is a good product for flavor but also for value there is a lot of protein in this from good sources and I find that it is increasing my muscle mass and allowing me to get more protein in my diet quickly and without a lot of effort in preparations

I loved this product and was buying the Decadent Chocolate fairly regularly because it was one of the few chocolate nutritional shakes that tasted great. Unfortunately, since they have recently changed their look and taste, I find it very hard to enjoy. I have to make more potent fruit additions (unsweetened shredded coconut and strawberry mostly) to compensate for the grainy, "typical protein shake" taste. I understand the protein increased by 2g and the sugar decreased by 1g, but I am not sure it was worth it. Maybe they will try to improve.
