Excellent product

I just bought and used this. Ignored the pool all winter in NoCal because of all the rains. It was cold and kept the algae at bay but there was a bloom holding steady. Had shocked the pool, swept, cleaned filters (2 huge cartridges for 35k gal pool). Things were clearing but very slowly and with the warmer weather the bloom was ready to explode. I put in about 32 oz. and swept some more. Ran the sweep and pump 24 hrs. Much better. Some foam but not much and nothing that lasted. You could see a clear oil slick on the surface likely due to all the algae lipids and enzymes. I put skimmer socks on both baskets. The sock material would quickly clog up with algae debris. I am washing these out at least twice a day along with the sweep bag. Will add some clarifier in another day (day 3) and clean filters again on Day 5. I expect to have sparkling clear water within a week of addition. Will continue to use as maintenance all year. It is taking care of my algae problem nicely and for a decent price.

I do not recommend this product. Using this Member's Mark Algaecide 40 created a significant amount of foaming, which had never previously happened with any other product in the 18 years I've had my pool. Even worse was that it was ineffective and I had to purchase a different product elsewhere to re-treat the pool and get rid of the algae.

I wouldn’t buy this again pool foaming like crazy not going away. Gonna have to do something else

This algecide is the best value I can find . No foaming issues so far.

Right now in the process of draining and refilling our pool due to the metals this product put in our water. Looked like a bubble bath after using. Pool company said only was to correct water was to drain. DO NOT USE!

I bought this product because I have used other Member’s Mark items with great results. Not so with the algae use. It is not effective on mustard algae which can get started in hot, sunny pools in Arkansas. Money back, please!

Used as directed at end of last season. Had the best and cleanest pool opening in nearly 20 years of having this pool. 16x32 in ground - Northeastern PA

This is a very good, highly concentrated product. Where I normally use 8 or 12 ounces per dose for my pool with other products, this one only needs 4 ounces for 25,000 gallons. AND it works! FOAMING? I haven't a clue what those people are doing but with my salt water pool there is NO foaming.

Found that my local club had in stock even though online said they were out. This is the first season I'm using this algaecide hadn't known Sam's had their own brand and for the price I'm giving it a try. The ingredients are the same as some other algecides I have used, paying for a quart what these two gallons cost. I normally use as a preventative, so as of now can't say how it works to get rid of algae and as long as my pool stays algae free I guess I can say it works. Oh, had some bubbles after adding intial dose, no foaming, you just have to be careful to not add more than what it says to.
