I received a sample of this detergent to try and I really liked it. It smelled great and the fragrance did not irritate my sensitive skin. It also did a great job of cleaning and freshening my clothes. I will definitely buy this detergent for future use.

I just received my sample of the the seventh gen free and clear laundry detergent as part of their generation good community and I love it! It cleans better than other brands free and clear that I have used. I loved that the clothes felt clean after using this detergent.

This is my favorite go to laundry soap. This product not only is environmentally friendly but it cleans your clothes very well.  The lavender scent is amazing.  This product is very affordable I think. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. 

I have extremely sensitive skin when it comes to laundry detergent. This is the only brand I have found that one, has a great list of ingredients (nothing scary or harmful), two, it has a light lavender scent, and three, does not cause fading in colors.

I was given samples from Seventh Generation through the Generation Good Forum to sample and provide a review. I have to admit that I was skeptical that 1 oz. detergent could get my clothes clean. I also had my doubt about a detergent that was 0% toxic - 100% clean would do such a nice job on my clothes. I usually prefer a scented product, but I didn't really miss or notice that there was no scent. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of suds in my washer. So by giving up harsh chemicals this detergent hasn't given up on cleaning power. The fact that 1 oz. of this can clean my clothes means that any bottle I purchase will last much longer! I'm happy that I received this sample as I don't know if I would have picked this up on my own. I received free samples of this product in exchange for my review. This is the first time I have used a plant based laundry detergent. I was nervous to use because my husband only likes one brand but it worked great. My clothes got clean and it smells amazing. I like the plant based ingredients and think this is important for my family's health. I received a free product for the purpose of my honest review.

I received some free samples of this product in exchange for a review. My husband has psoriasis and skin sensitivities to almost everything so finding something for his clothes can be difficult. I washed a load with socks, underwear, underarmour shirts and outer wear as well to see if the articles closest to his skin caused any irritations after being washed. First thing I was happy about is that it is clear! Good start. Also, there was no fragrance which is good for my husband. Upon close inspection I found that it was strong enough to clean everyday spills and stains but didn't do so well on the second load of my husband's work clothes. He works with explosives and manufacturing so they're not impossible stains, but even after pre-treatment they were still there. Granted some of them could be there forever, but he usually only has dirt and sweat marks. But I'm happy to report he has had no skin reactions and that's what I'm more worried about. So this is a big possibility for my next laundry purchase regardless of price. Compared to other "free and natural brands " I'd say this is a tough competitor.

I tried Seventh Generation Lavender Laundry detergent and am very impressed with the results. My laundry came out clean, soft, and smells wonderful. It doesn't irritate the skin because there are no synthetic dyes, fragrances or chemicals in it. It's plant derived and scented with essential oils. It does an excellent job on delicates, gym clothes, and work clothes. My laundry smell wonderful and I have been told, "That's the smell of pure love."
