This is a great laundry detergent, I've been using it to wash burp cloths along with normal laundry (I own a dog) and it gets the smells out wonderfully. I also like how it doesn't smell like anything and it just cleans the clothes. I'm excited to try it on cloth diapers once my newborn can fit into them. This Seventh Generation Free & Clear laundry detergent works well for my family's needs. I have a daughter and son with sensitive skin, so I always worry about their skin getting irritated. Since having a baby in October 2015, my husband and I have been working to rid ourselves of harsh chemicals in our home in place of ones that are purer, yet still work well. This is one of those products! I found that after using the Free and Clear detergent our clothes are coming out nice and clean and I love that it doesn't smell like chemicals or other scents-- just clean. My baby's skin has no problems with it and same with my husband and I. We received free samples for this and were so happy we did so we could give it a try! Highly recommend this detergent.

So I originally received a free sample of these to try out... I love it. I bought a full sized product. I work at a diner where I waitress/cook. Some days it's both. My uniform goes thru a lot in one day. At the end of the week, it has a build up. Requiring a deep soak and wash. I regularly use this it keeps my uniform buildup free. I love using Seventh Generation's laundry detergent. It's super gentle on my clothes and my family's skin! No harmful chemicals and a very natural scent. My husband is a plumber and this cleaned his clothes very well. My daughter is allergic to many different detergents but not this one. This is a winner! I received a free product for the purpose of my honest review, but I would have been honest regardless because I truly love this product. The scent is wonderful, not too strong but long lasting. My clothes have always come out just as clean as they would have if I had used a harsher detergent so I have no issues there, and I really feel good that I am doing something positive for the environment. I doubt I'll ever switch, this is my go to detergent.

I liked my Seventh Generation Laundry detergent, I can see why it claims to be made for sensitive skin. My initial thought after using the detergent was that my clothes really didn't smell like anything, I guess I'm used to using the detergent with all the added chemicals to make clothes smell good. I liked using Generation Good, it didn't smell like anything and that's what clean clothes should smell like (like nothing) I knew my clothes were clean and it made a small but much needed impact to our earth. I was a little worried when realizing this was a free & clear product and how effective it would be on smelly clothes. I am very pleased to report that it's very effective! The packs handled their intended load size with ease. The clothes were bright & smell-free! It removes stains and odors with equal aplomb and should be a great addition to anyone's laundry regimen! I have tried quite a few natural detergents before, and it can be hit or miss (I'm looking at you, Charlie's Soaps!!!) Seventh Generation's plant-powered really works and the smell is delightful! My daughter, Rachel, has more sensitive skin and is bothered by traditional detergent (think Tide + similar) so I will be sure to keep this in good stock to use on all the laundry when she is around. Biggest complaint is that though this product is certified "Greener," there is still room for improvement: EWG gives it a C or even D rating plus "biodegradable" is an unregulated term, so that particular claim is meaningless. That being said, Seventh Generation Lavendar cleans just as good as the name-brand highly chemical cleaners, which is amazing considering how much better it is. I received a free product sample and fell in love with the Lavender Detergent. I Originally started using the Unscented Detergent for my newborns clothes and blankets. I have now switched to using The Lavender Detergent for myself and continue to use the unscented for my now one-year-old. I love the light scent it leaves on my clothes and towels. A little goes a long way and I never get headaches like I would with other brands chemically and overly scented products. I highly recommend this product!!!
