For years I have always used Tide but I have wanted to switch to something that was more environmentally friendly while still not costing an arm and a leg. Seventh generation works really well at cleaning your clothes and getting tough stains out while still maintaining a clean smell. I received a free product for the purpose of my honest review.

This past weekend I tried Seventh Generation Fresh Lavender Scent Laundry Detergent and I love it! It left my clothes and bedding smelling amazing, in a light subtle way, and cleaned just as well as conventional detergents. I did receive free samples to try, but that did not influence my opinion.

I received 3 packs of lavender Seventh Generation laundry detergent for free. I loved it! It smelled soooo nice and it cleaned great! I was very impressed. I washed my scrubs in one load and they came out great. I think this detergent smells the best of all on market.

After receiving the free samples, I was impressed with how good the laundry smelled. It even came out of the dryer smelling good. Of course everything was clean also. I recently purchased the detergent also that prevents you from adding too much and love it.

I really enjoyed using this laundry detergent, it made me feel like I was taking proper washing care of my clothing. The smell is the perfect amount not too strong and not too weak. I have been using Seventh Generation Free & Clear for several months now, after hopping between a few of the other competing 'Free and Natural' etc. offerings from bigger brands. While most of the other ones I tried were OK to good, Seventh Generation is the only one that doesn't give me any problems. Having allergies and eczema, I know a product works well if I literally can forget about/not think about at all! My clothes do not come out with any sort of scent, my skin isn't being irritated at all, and I can feel great about supporting a smaller brand with a positive mission statement and ideology. So, of course I was more than happy to receive a free full-size product for the purpose of my review. A great product that I was already using before, am using now, and will certainly be sticking with it in the future!
