I know there are a lot of detergents out there that are marketed more towards babies. However, those actually would cause my washer to overflow. However, seventh generation free and clear is something I can use on all of our clothes, it gets out stains, and it is safe to use on new sensitive skin. I highly recommend. While I have used this product for years, I did receive a sample for free in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed here are my own.

I received complimentary Seventh Generation laundry detergent in Fresh Lavender Scent recently from a Seventh Generation campaign to try out. I love the calming aroma of lavender, made from 100% essential oils and botanical ingredients. My only complaint about the fragrance is that I noticed it dissipated by the time my clothes were out of the dryer (I really would have loved to have enjoyed it throughout the day on my clothes). I like that this product does not have any synthetic fragrances, dyes or artificial brighteners. It was easy to use and didn't require much of the detergent to wash one load. I also like that Seventh Generation's detergent is septic safe, 97% USDA certified biobased, and that the ingredients are explained on the back of the packaging. I would definitely try this brand again. I love how soft it left my clothes!

I really liked this Seventh Generation Lavender Laundry Detergent. I have used their other scents or the fragrance free in the past and looked forward to trying this scent. I thought it cleaned very effectively and didn't have an overpowering scent which I appreciated. I will definitely add this to my rotation. This is a great product for postpartum healing!.. I needed something that had good absorption but without being overly padded. The hospital will give you pads that are more like heavy/super stage as well as the giant peri pads. These are like panty liners/light flow which is really all you need. Make sure you prioritize yourself and make a postpartum basket for the restroom.... and make sure these are included!! A must have!

I've always love lavender and I'm happy to try the Seventh Generation fresh lavender scent. Made from 100% essential oil and botanical ingredients. It has zero synthetic fragrances and no dyes artificial brighteners. My laundry smells so good that every time I wear my shirt and turn my head on my sides, I always smell the lavender scent. The free and clear laundry detergent is my favorite, it cleans great and is gentle on my family's sensitive skin. My husband has eczema and and sensitive skin, and this is one of the only detergents I've tried that doesn't make him super itchy all day long. I've gotten tired of Tide changing the scent of the laundry detergent I end up liking. I wanted to give up on them but wasn't sure where to go next. This has the very best lavender scent (natural scent) & it lingers after laundry is dry but isn't overpowering. Love it! PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING WITH THIS LAVENDER LAUNDRY DETERGENT! If you want to change it, please make a different lavender but keep this plain lavender one.
