I loved that the clothes retained the scent after washing/drying but it was very mild. The clothes came out seeming clean, but did not do great with getting rid of specific spots/marks. (Not necessarily things that would stain, just splashes/spots from spills on clothes, etc.)

I tried the Seventh Generation lavender scented laundry detergent and it was a nice light smell, not overwhelming. Clothes had a light hint of lavender scent after coming out of the dryer. Would use again! I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

I received this sample in exchange for an honest review. There are many things I love about this product! I love that it is based in the U.S.A, not tested on animals, plant based, and contains no dyes! Only downside is I wish it had a plant based ingredient that would make the laundry smell a little fresher after being washed.

It absolutely did the job and my family and I with sensitive skin had no problems at all with it! It has plant based cleaning ingredients that really work well. I have tried another name brand free and clear detergent before and I actually had a skin reaction! I usually use pods for laundry, but this was a liquid I could get into! I tried the 4x Free and Clear detergent as part of #GenerationGood and we really liked it! I also washed a couple baby blankets I had done an edging on for some friends so that they wont have to worry about skin sensitivity. Everything I washed looks clean and I would definitely buy this product!

Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent is really good at cleaning laundry very well and is gentle to the skin when wearing the clothes after they have been washed. There was no itchy feeling on the skin --- just soothing cleanliness of freshly washed clothes. The detergent is quite appealing for all, especially ones with sensitive skin. I have to say ever since trying out Seventh generation free & clear laundry soap, I LOVE IT. It works so great and gets stains out very well. I just didn't care for the non scent to it. I got a free sample of laundry detergent to try in exchange for my honest opinion and I honestly like it. I feel like it works just as well as any other detergent I've tried-- which is awesome considering the environmental benefits. It smells wonderful but it's not an overpowering scent. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
