I have always used the same cold water laundry soap. I was surprised when I used, Seventh Generation Free & Clear laundry detergent made for sensitive skin. No one had red mark's, rashes or bumps on their arms or legs. The bumps they did have went away within the 3rd wash, this is when I realized even the will known trusted names brands still have chemicals that can have harsh effects on the skin.

I use Seventh Generation dishwasher powder and love it. I thought I would love the laundry liquid as well. Although the unscented detergent is fine, the cap is awful. The directions read to fill the cap to lone 3 or 5 depending on the load size. THERE IS NO LINE:!! Also, the detergent leaks all around the top of the bottle and is very messy no matter how careful you are when replacing it.

I tried this detergent a few years ago when it became harder to find a national brand in unscented, and I have never used anything else since. I am sensitive to perfumes, and greatly appreciate the absence of any scent in the Free and Clear. I can add a drop or two of an essential oil to the wash at my discretion. I do not use much of this at a time, and the clothes come out clean and fresh. Excellent product!

Seventh Generation makes the most amazing laundry detergent. Not only does it have grade ingredients it works amazing as well. The lavender scent smell so amazing and it's super calming. I have many allergies to fragrances and also have developed a rash after using a new detergent several times. I usually will be sneezing and have massive headaches doing laundry and with Seventh Generation Free and Clear that didn't happen. Yay! It cleans just as well and my jeans aren't making me itch. It is very important to me to remove toxins from my environment and use safer products. I am a big fan of the Seventh Generation company and love the products I have tried. I was lucky enough to try a sample of the Free & Clear laundry detergent. It is hypoallergenic and a 96% USDA Certified Biobased Product. It did a great job in cleaning the load of laundry that I washed, but did not have an over powering smell. I am sensitive to strong smells since I get migraines, so this detergent was perfect for me. I RECEIVED MY PRODUCT IN THE MAIL FOR FREE TO TRY AND GIVE MY OPINION ABOUT. I have to say this laundry detergent is pretty good. It made a lot of bubbles for being already pre-measured. I really only had to use packet for a washing machine that was a double loader. The clothes had stains on them because we all know kids are kids, but after I took them out if the washer most of the stains were gone. The only thing I did not like was how strong the smell was. I like a soft lavender smell, but this is a very strong fragrance. I would definitely recommend this to someone who uses natural laundry detergent. Got this as a sample from Seventh Generation and I absolutely loved it. My girls and I have very sensitive skin so even some of the free and clears have somehow made us itch and break out. This one did neither of the sorts. Definitely, recommend to those with allergies or just don't like having nasty unnatural products on your clothes.

Love using seventh generation, amazing product, I have sensitive skin, doesn't make me break out like tide or gain, scared to try any other detergent, because if I try another detergent, and my skin breaks out again, I have to wash everything, and quite frankly, I don't need to try any other detergents, this is the best on the market, that's my opinion.

I was selected to try Seventh Generation's Free & Clear laundry detergent made for sensitive skin, for FREE! This laundry detergent makes as much bubbles as other name brand detergents like Tide and also has a decent smell. My oldest child has eczema so I have been recommended to wash his clothes and blankets with detergent that is free from chemicals since that is supposed to help with his outbreaks but I can not say for sure if that is true or not since I have not seen a change in his outbreaks whenever I use free and clear laundry detergents. At first I had thought that seventh generation laundry free and clear laundry detergent wasn't going to compare to other detergents I have used but after receiving some samples and using them to wash my kids clothes my thoughts changed. The smell is not bad for being free and clear and with just a little bit of detergent you still get a decent amount of bubbles.
