MY GIRLS LOVE TO PLAY HARD! And therefore are hard on laundry. I was surprised by this detergent. It worked hard on taking out the stains while being gentle on their clothes. And what's better is that it was done without all of the harmful chemicals found in most detergents. Thank you Seventh Generation for allowing to try this for free!!

Did a great job and cleaned the laundry very well w/o the harsh ingredients. It also seemed to suds less, assume making the rinse more thorough. I didn't necessarily notice a lavender scent, but may have been just me. I did receive several sample packets free to test for a review-several packets being useful as a test on different loads/amounts of dirt. The "free" did not influence my review, although did influence my future purchases :)

I received a sample of the detergent from Seventh Generation. It works great - smells clean and fresh without fake scents and unnecessary brightly colored detergents. The only reason this doesn't get a 5 is because it contains sodium laurel sulfate. I'm trying desperately to steer clear of sulfates in all products in my home and really wish this didn't contain that ingredient.

I am currently in the process of switching to greener and cleaner products since having children. It's been a process since it's not always cheap. I used the laundry detergent samples that I received in the mail and I loved them. Good ingredients and happy to use on my newborns clothes

I received the lavender scented 7th Generation laundry detergent. I love to use scented detergent on my sheets and towels. Even after a week of sitting in my linen closet, the fabrics smell so fresh. The sheets scented with lavender are especially wonderful for giving off calming scents before bed. My laundry always feels clean with no residue after washing. This was a nice change in doing laundry. It wasn't held back with over powering scents or dyed. I was surprised at how long it kept my clothes fresh! I ahve to say I was a bit skeptical about using Seventh Generation. I fifgured all natural no harsh chemicals meant my clothes would not be fresh and clean. I have to tell you it was the opposite. My clothes came out clean and smelling so nice. I'm so glad I received the free samples and gave it a try I was not disappointed. Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent is a great product and your clothes look and smell great.

The first thing I need a detergent to do, is pass the "construction worker test". That means, it needs to make my husband's work clothes smell and feel fresh and clean. I've used expensive name brands before and his socks would still have odor and be stiff from foot powder. I was absolutely amazed that in one cycle, Seventh generation detergent did what others have failed. All of the clothing washed has a pleasant scent and was very clean with freshness lasting for weeks! I also love that i can feel good about using a product that helps ensure a healthy future for my family. I'm extremely satisfied with the performance.

This Seventh Generation Lavender Laundry Detergent works and smells like a dream. I love using plant based products they keep everyone safe from harsh chemicals and with us trying to concieve we need to stay away from those chemicals and with this laundry soap we can. I do have say that it is a bit pricey and that is the only downfall I can see.
