You should try this detergent if you think it's not as great as they boast! It was Lavender but more like "a hint of Lavender" really...I usually hate Lavender scented anything - but it wasn't overwhelming with that fake Lavender scent (u know the one) it was light & airy / just right! I decided to hand wash my blacks in it and stopped my washing machine cycle to let some of the scent soak in a little longer. You could say my grade for it was an A+. Great job Gen. Good!

I cannot get over the smell it's so fresh. Seventh generation laundry detergent left my clothes feeling great. I'm in the process right now of stocking up on some for my house. Not only did it leave my clothes smelling great they were super clean. I had a hard stain I could not get out with regular detergent and seven generation got it out. I would really recommend anyone getting seven generation lavender laundry detergent.

I have used the detergent before but received the free sample. I love that this is a “clean” option and I love their cleaning products. My only issue with this detergent is it's not really great at cleaning really DIRTY clothes. I have a soon to be 1 year old son and unfortunately, it doesn't break through some of the food left on his bibs. If they could come up with a stronger formula, I would def buy it again.

I love the scent of lavender, so I really enjoyed this detergeant. It smelled fresh, and it did a fantastic job of removing stains. I have a young child who enjoys playing outside, and this detergent got out all the dirt and grass stains easily. I'm impressed at the cleaning power of a detergent made with natural ingredients. Full disclosure, I have been asked to leave a review after being given a free sample. HOWEVER, I have extremely sensitive skin and severe eczema that often causes hives. Seventh generation is the only laundry detergent I'm able to use anymore! I love the free and clear version and the lavender scents. They clean just as well as the orange stuff, but without harsh chemicals and itchy fragrances. I'm a user for life!

I was actually surprised at how well this detergent worked. I wasn't expecting the laundry to come out as clean compared to what I usually use, but it did the job. It also smelled like lavender which was nice. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy it in bulk and that it came in some type of pod because I tend to be heavy handed. I received a free sample of the Seventh Generation lavender laundry detergent. It worked well to clean my laundry. The only knock I have is that the lavender smell didn't last from washer to dryer. If you line dry your clothes, you may be able to hang on to some of the fragrance.

At first I was a bit skeptical, seeing as it was plant based, but I was convinced after the first load. The smell was heavenly! It wasn't a strong over bearing, scent, it was light but lasted after washing. The cleaning power really amazed me. My husband is an industrial mechanic and my kids are just messy and this detergent got all the stains and smells out! I also love that a little of this detergent goes a long way.

I've been using this product for years, and I love it. This unscented is great for those with sensitive skin who might have issues with the natural scents they use in their other versions (a rare occurrence). It works great in both top and front loaders, and I rarely use the full amount their cap recommends in either style of washer.
