Upon receiving Lavender scent products from seventh generation I thought the fragrance would be very strong in the wash but that was not the case my clothes and bedding came out smelling so fresh that I couldn't wait to wash them again. I recommend these products to anyone who likes the lavender scented products.

I love that this product cleaned and conditoned my fabrics just as well as my previous brand with the added benefit of being eco friendly and gentle on my family's skin. I was skeptical that a detergent made with natural ingredients could tackle our tough toddler stains, or eliminate our swear stains and odors. I received a free sample of this laundry detergent and I was very pleased with the results. I have 2 busy kids that love to play and do crafts, so their clothes are always a mess. I have super sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what kind of detergent I can use. Seventh Generation's Free & Clear Natural Detergent did a superb job of cleaning our clothes and it has absolutely no scent so I did not have any allergic reactions to it. Win for the whole family. Will definitely be purchasing this in the future.

A good laundry detergent and the scent is not overpowering. I like that it has a light lavender scent. It is gentle on his skin but tough on the stains. As a parent, I feel better knowing that I'm using a product that's less harmful to the environment, and when it works as well as this one does, there is literally no downside. With two kids, there's a lot of laundry all the time and this one works perfectly in my high efficiency front loading machine. I will purchase again!

I want my clothes to be clean and free of stains and odors; so I was skeptical at first. Even though we don't have any sensitive skin issues in our house, I am trying to rid our home of harsh chemicals and move towards more "natural" products. After my first load of clothing I didn't have to think twice about using a "Free & Clear" product. My clothes were left clean and fresh and even soft to the skin. The lavender scent is simply wonderful! I had never tried a biodegradable laundry detergent before, and was very pleased with how well it cleaned my clothing (even my kids' dirt-and-food-stained stuff!). I am really impressed by Seventh Generation's free and clear laundry detergent. My daughter sometimes develops a light rash from certain detergents, but has not had this issue with the free and clear detergent. I really like most of seventh generation products and this product isn't an exception. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the scent. Some lavender scents are amazing and others fall short for me. This one fell short I just didn't like the smell. I would opt for fragrance free next time.
