I've been using Seventh Generation Free & Clear laundry detergent, and I was excited to try the Lavender. It has a light scent that helped to freshen the towels and blankets that I washed. I look forward to using the detergent for our clothes as well!

While I did receive this product for free for the purpose of my honest review, I have been a loyal seventh generation customer for a while. The detergent doesn't leave a residue in my washer and the scent is light and not overwhelming as I'm not a huge lavender fan when by itself. I have tried multiple different varieties and scents, and while this isn't my favorite, this brand detergent is always my go to.

I didn't particularly like the Lavender Scent, but I see that Seventh Generation also offers it in Free & Clear and Fresh Citrus which I would be more open to purchasing. The product worked just as well as any name brand detergent, so knowing that it goes the extra mile of being better for the plant makes me want to buy it more. Ok, I received these samples for the purpose of my honest review. I used them for my daughters laundry (she's a 17 month old with lots of food and potty stains) I was so pleased with the results of this detergent! Got rid of the stains and I love the lavender smell.

I give them above title as I believe that we don't just need clean clothes but we all need to take a big step towards a cleaner and healthier environment. The Seventh Generation laundry detergent is 100% biodegradable and is plant based cleaning alternative to harsh chemicals used in many other detergents. Safe for sensitive skin and kids! The Lavender scent is amazing. I used my free sample in a load of mixed laundry and it worked as good, if not better as the leading laundry detergents like Tide. Without the harsh chemicals I feel safe washing my toddler's and baby's clothing as well. I received a free product for the purpose of my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

I've been using SG for awhile now and it's far less irritating then some of the conventional detergent brands. The smell is not overpowering and does not give me a headache. It's subtle but just enough. This detergent takes out the majority of whatever I get on my clothes. Best environmentally friendly laundry detergent ever!

I love this laundry detergent since I have very sensitive skin and I often don't react well to some detergent brands. Sometimes it doesn't clean as well as I'd like on bigger pieces like coats and comforters but I like that it includes clean and simple ingredients.
