I received three free trial packs of seventh generation lavender detergent and the first load I used it on was my husbands work clothes, he is a mechanic so these clothes are the hardest to get clean and get smelling fresh the getting clean part with a sample of my detergent was a 9 considering the fact that it was mechanics work clothes that's amazing but as far as the scent it didn't quite remove it but it was expected I'm now on my second load and it is my everyday clothing and it smells well from upstairs cleans good as well I'm debating on using it for my new horns next load of laundry

Aside from making my own, Seventh Generation is the only detergent we use. Environmentally friendly than most detergents. EWG Skin Deep homepage shows it contains no ingredients that cause health issues while some other still can show risk. This is an awesome detergent to use with peace of mind. I love it

 I love this brand for several reason, it is naturally powered by plants and it gets my clothes fresh and clean, the Lavendar scent is sweet and refreshing. My clothes come out soft to the touch! Myself and my child both have sensitive skin and have to use free and clear detergents. Unfortunately, not all free and clear seem to be created equal. I was really excited to find out that my clothes were very clean and fresh after a wash! I received a free product for the purpose of my honest review.

My house hold has 5 loads a week of laundry. Working and highly energetic family making a fantastic detergent a must. I received a sample of this to try in exchange for my honest review. The detergent was great and got all the clothes clean! I am super sensitive to strong scents and the lavender was not bad all! Unless the sample packets have a different scent than the regular bottles, I'm not sure why everyone is so bent out of shape about the scent.

Full disclosure, I have been asked to leave a review after being given a free sample. HOWEVER, I have extremely sensitive skin and severe eczema that often causes hives. Seventh generation is the only laundry detergent I'm able to use anymore! I love the free and clear version and the lavender scents. They clean just as well as the orange stuff, but without harsh chemicals and itchy fragrances. I'm a user for life!

I really wanted to try this, because I love this detergent's lavender scent. It is also tough on stains which is something I need, because I always get a variety of hard to remove stains on my clothes. I also like that it is safer to use than other detergents, because it has no dyes, no optical brighteners, or synthetic fragrances. I do not like all the harsh ingredients or all those artificial ingredients that are in most products that you buy. I love this brand, because it is a natural and a safe bet. It works in any water temperature, and that is a plus. Although I myself only use cold water many people use hot, and they can use this detergent in whatever temperature that they want. I wondered if this detergent would be as good as others at removing stains, because it is natural. It however did well, and left my clothes were left with a pleasant lavender scent.
