I've loved this detergent and have been using it for years. But they recently changed the design of the cap to an opaque green cap. It is one of the worst designed packaging solutions I have seen in a while. I'm almost considering pouring all this into a different 3rd party container because it's so nasty. What a waste of plastic.

I've been using this product for years but the most recent time I bought it, the packaging had changed. There's a new lid one uses to measure the detergent, and it's horrible! It drips down the side, which of course becomes a drip down the side of the whole bottle when you replace the lid. The old design never did this. It's enough to make me switch detergents.

I've been using this detergent for over 10 years. The new lid design makes a mess! The new opaque green lid doesn't let detergent to drain back into the bottle and ends up leaking everywhere. I'm digging my old bottle out of the recycling to refill with from this new bottle. Please bring back to the old design or fix this!

I too hate the new lid! I'll second what most people have already said in other reviews. The most glaring offense being the lack of measurement lines inside the lid when the directions clearly advise using them to measure out the detergent. Plus they leak and my bottle looks like the ones others here have posted, a sticky icky white mess. I know you guys spent a lot of money designing these new bottles but please go back top the old one. Or redesign the cap to at least have the measuring lines.

I aleays loved 7th Gen free and clear, used it for years. I bought a free and clear bottle with greem cap. Not only was the cap impossible to remove without difficulty but the detergent, supposedly free of dye and fragrance smells of fruit, banana and oranges to be exact! Also, it is not clear, no color, anymore. It looks dirty pale yellow. Got my money back at the grocery store and bought the small, supposedly concentrated bottle you turn upside down and squeeze. It also was a dirty pale yellow but thick and slimy and smells awful. Why have you ruined a perfectly good product? I want the old 7th gen free and clear back in the white bottle with clear cap, no fragrance and clear liquid. Why do companirs always "improve" products into something no one wants? Leave a great product alone. Unilever seems to ruin whatever they touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wasn't impressed with the Seventh Generation Liquid Laundry detergent. For one the bottle said to fill to certain lines of which I could not see. I ended up filling up the full cap. When I did my laundry it didn't get some of my laundry clean, I had to wash it again. I have been trying to use it to hand clean my face masks and I have to let them soak in order to get them clean. It just takes longer to get clean which doesn't impress me. I would recommend it for heavy stained clothes.

As others have said, the green cap does not have any measuring lines on it. I have no idea how much to use. Will not buy again.

Near impossible to read dosage markers on cap. Okay to even worse to get the liquid off your hands. No more for me.

I love the detergent, but the green cap I'd very messy. If there are any lines for measuring, you can't see them.

Great product but as others have observed, new green lid makes a mess. It's a shame, but will need to consider another brand.
