I always say, if you go organic or natural with your food and don't apply the same to your skin then what's the point. This detergent is amazing. Ultra concentrated and smells amazing. The best is that it isn't full of all the chemicals like regular detergent

I love the scent of lavender, so I really enjoyed this detergeant. It smelled fresh, and it did a fantastic job of removing stains. I have a young child who enjoys playing outside, and this detergent got out all the dirt and grass stains easily. I'm impressed at the cleaning power of a detergent made with natural ingredients. Let me begin by saying that I'm a huge fan of seventh generation products. Currently, I have in my house their chlorine free bleach, disinfecting bathroom cleaner, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, toilet bowl cleaner, counter cleaner, hand soap and disinfecting wipes. I agree with their philosophy of taking care of the earth and I love that their products are cruelty free and have carry the leading bunny logo. Having said that, I was hesitant to try their laundry detergent. I have 2 boys who play sports and a husband who works in a warehouse. We have goats and I spend lots of time with them. Needless to say, our laundry is pretty smelly and dirty and I thought I needed a heavy duty detergent to do the job, but then I received 3 free samples of the 4x ultra concentrated free and clear laundry detergent to review as part of their generation good program. I was eager to try the product for a couple of reason: first, I was hoping it would work as well as other detergents, second, it is 4x concentrated so I'm paying for detergent, not water. Lastly, my son has developed acne on his back and I was pretty sure detergents with perfumes and dyes were not helping the situation. I used the first sample to wash his white tee shirts, the second, longer sleeved shirts. I can't attest to whether it will help with his acne, but I will say the clothes came out clean and after drying with woolzies dryer balls, they smelled fresh. I will absolutely buy this product. I love their mission (no animal testing, let's be good to the earth), I'm paying for detergent, not fillers, and even with only washing 2 loads, I can tell it gets my clothes clean. But most importantly, I feel good knowing I'm not exposing my family to unnecessary chemicals.

This detergent is powered by plants, tough on stains and has 100% biodegradable ingredients. This laundry detergent cleans my laundry very well. Colors stay bright and whites stay white. It really works grat on dirt and stains, but it is very gentle for your skin. It does not have any dyes, optical brighteners or synthetic fragrances. I love that it is a natural detergent which is safe to use for the whole family and especially for people and kids with sensitive skin. The laundry feels very soft when coming out of the laundry machine and smells very fresh and clean. This detergent cleans my laundry whether I use it for whites, dark clothes or on gentle fabrics. When I use this laundry detergent I know that my laundry will be clean no matter how dirty the laundry will be and that it is safe to use. I highly recommend this laundry detergent!

I have tried quite a few natural laundry soaps, and even spent a while making my own. This Seventh Generation laundry soap is absolutely wonderful! Hefty cleaning power, great light scent that isn't overwhelming, and it is wonderful for my sensitive skinned self and babes! Will definitely be purchasing from now on. I received a free product for the purpose of my review. I have tried other free and clear laundry soaps and have been disappointed in the past. This soap is a hard worker! I tend to over use my laundry soap because I don't think it is working properly. This sample was just the right size and it cleaned my clothes very well. The soap was very sudsy and it smelled wonderful. When I took my clothes out of the washer I noticed how clean and fresh they smelled and felt. I would recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin also. My opinions are 100% my own.

I tried the free & clear Seventh Generation detergent and surprised that the clothes come out smelling so fresh and clean. I have tried other detergents that were free&clear of perfumes and dyes and thought they left much to be desired with the scent of the clothing after washing. I didn't try this on any stains or anything but my regular load was clean and fresh so I am impressed so far. I like knowing this is a better choice for my family.
