I received two sample packs of the seventh generation free and clear laundry soap for free through the generation good program. My baby had sensitive skin early on and this product was great to use on her clothes and blankets. Only down side is the isnt really a clean smell afterwards like you get with other detergents, that is why I only gave it 4 stars..still a great product overall.

I didn't particularly like the Lavender Scent, but I see that Seventh Generation also offers it in Free & Clear and Fresh Citrus which I would be more open to purchasing. The product worked just as well as any name brand detergent, so knowing that it goes the extra mile of being better for the plant makes me want to buy it more. I was pretty skeptical going in, but was super impressed with the product. Living on the farm and with a husband working construction, we have some pretty dirty loads of laundry. The Free & Clear worked great and the clothes came out fresh and clean!

Mmmm the smell of lavender is a very calming & soothing scent. Smells like a stronger detergent than what I currently use. Surprisingly it was a clear liquid too without any purple hue ha. Natural ingredients and good for the environment which is great! I liked this one. I'm glad I got to try this thank you Seventh Generation

I had the opportunity to try out Seventh Generation Fresh lavender scent liquid laundry detergent. I was pleasantly surprised of the fresh clean scent. I like that Seventh Generation uses natural ingredients in their products so I don't have to worry about toxic chemicals. I normally use unscented detergent, so I was a little unsure about the scent. I could smell the lavender scent while pouring it, but my clothes did not smell like lavender after washing and drying. The detergent seemed to clean my clothes well, and it seems to be acceptable for sensitive skin! I received a free product for the purpose of my honest review.

I've never used the seventh generation brand before when it came down to laundry detergent, but now I am hooked. The detergent is gentle, non over powering in fragrance and did a really great job at cleaning some pretty tough stains. After using 5 samples I had to make this brand my main choice for laundry detergent.

This detergent held up better than expected. I have three kids and it cleaned up all the messes included in our normal load. Additionally, it managed to help my son's shirts bounce back from his habit of chewing on the sleeves and necklines. Not perfect, but definitely an improvement. The fragrance was a little much for us. We are used to using unscented detergent and adding essential oil to the dryer balls. I would definitely use seventh generation again, but would probably opt for the unscented version.
