I received a free sample of Seventh Generation Free & Clear Laundry Detergent and tried it. It worked really well. My clothes came out clean and I loved that there was no fragrance on them to make my skin itch and eyes water. I would recommend it for everyone, but especially if you have sensitive skin like me.

I love the lavender scent. It is refreshing and smells natural. I prefer to use scented laundry detergent, but it is hard to find a natural scented detergent that I feel good about using. I tried Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent Lavender Scent, and it was highly effective. My mom always told me that the gold standard detergent was one that fights stains without having to add additional ingredients or spray with stain fighters, one that makes your whites brighter, and one that doesn't fade colors. This detergent fits all of those! And the lavender smell is beautiful! However, to my son's delight, it is not so powerful that his clothes carry a strong 'girlie' scent after the wash is through! Im always a little skeptical when trying new laundry soaps due to my husband being sensitive to certain laundry detergents. But I was thoroughly surprised after trying the seventh generation detergent. It had a nice lavender scent that wasnt over powering but was also strong enough to smell after the wash was complete. It didn't leave a residue like some others have done and it left my clothes clean and soft. It worked great and it's safer to use than others on the market. I give 5 of 5 stars!

We all have sensitive skin and my 11-month old son skin is very sensitive. I have to be very careful with the laundry products , so we wash everyone's clothes in free and clear detergent. As winter approaches my skin gets very dry and flaky, and have to use moisturizer every day and use lotion after doing dishes. Because of this, all of the products in our household are dye free. This detergent has really helped out with skin issues. For my family we now finalized on this detergent as it is not harsh on the skin. I received a free product for the purpose of my review. I received 3 free samples of free and clear. I used 2 and gave 1 to my neighbor. I used one on lights and one on darks. My young son is 4 and wears his food on his school Polo shirts. His shirts are white and in this load there were some chocolate milk stains. The wash with free and clear got about 90 percent of the stains out and the clothes overall were very clean. In my darks everything came out stellar. I will purchase this for my home based on its cleaning power. But, will have to pre treat stains on white clothing.

I received a free sample to review. Recently I've been a little more conscious to what I use on my clothes and skin. As I've gotten older I realized it's better to buy a really good quality item rather than a bunch of cheap items. Because of this, laundry detergent needs to help keep those items like new and this detergent is great. The smell is nice and a little strong in the bottle, but once it's washed it leaves a nice, gentle scent behind. My clothes felt great too.
