I've been using this product for about 3 years now (estimating). I switched so that I could wash my baby's clothes without fragrances and dyes. Then, after realizing that other detergents would make my husband's feet break out in weird rashes, I just switched the entire family's laundry to Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent. Safe for baby's clothes, no more rashes on hubby's feet, and I can do all the laundry together.

This is my new favorite detergent. It cleans stains so well. It truly is sensitive enough for my infants skin and strong enough for my rough 7 year Olds clothes to come out clean. The unscented is unscented in a way that seems fresh. My husband always complains that his clothes don't seem clean with free and clear detergents but it hasn't been the case with seventh generation. Very happy with the product.....I'm hooked!

I rec'd a free sample of Seventh Generation Natural Laundry Detergent Free & Clear for purposes of my review. My opinions are 100% my own. I was new to this detergent and I have 2 people in my family with sensitive skin issues. I love that this it has mild ingredients, works great in my HE washing machine, is available at many store locations, and doesn't irritate the skin of my family members. It's nice to wash clothing for my child and not have to worry about allergic reactions, chemical smells or break outs. My husband has allergies too and he also dislikes laundry that is too perfume-ish smelling. Seventh Generation works well and left no chemical/fragranced smell on the laundry. It's great for the home and the environment - we are trying to be more environmentally conscious in our household and desire to make choices good for us and the environment. Downsides to this detergent? I realize this detergent isn't made w/ optical brighteners, and I will say I did notice some laundry items did appear a bit duller in color. I've only used this detergent twice, so I don't know if it would make my clothes noticeably duller after each usage. This product is of course more expensive than my usual brand of Tide. I would purchase again as the sensitive skin issues are important to address for my household, but I will keep an eye out for an further/future dulling of colors as this would be a problem for the longevity of our clothing.

I received this detergent as a sample.I tried it on a casual and on a sanitize cycle in our front loader washer. Both loads of laundry came out clean and the clothes smelling really fresh. I am impressed and the results exceeded my expectations I had for testing Seventh Generation Free and Clear and will be using this detergent from now on. Very delighted to have found a detergent that is free from harsh chemicals and suitable for sensitive skin.

I received free samples in the mail of the 4x ultra concentrated natural laundry detergent in free and clear. I love this detergent. It cleans well and my clothes feel soft and fresh. It does not cause my skin to be itchy or irritated like most other detergents. We love the Mandarin orange scent as well and feel great using it for hand washing delicates because it is not harsh on our hands. We also love the blue eucalyptus fabric softener and dryer sheets!

This product is powerful and cleans my clothes really well! The nature working ingredients get the job done! My kids clothes came out super clean and had no odor. I love, love, love this detergent. The lavender scent is fresh and clean without all of the chemicals that are bad for babies. Plus, it's plant based and biodegradable...what's not to love?? I have two young children and, let's be honest, they all have sensitive skin to some degree. I like the free & clear detergent because of their sensitive skin, but my favorite part is that it doesn't include artificial dyes or fragrances. I usually buy Arm & Hammer, but I felt that this was definitely comparable in quality so I will definitely add it in to my rotation.
