Great MXV4

I bought a set of 4 primacy MXV4 tyres. It has been 6 months so far, and I am very much pleased with the quality of tires. The comfort of the tires were good, especially when you travel on bumpy roads. Last 6 months I would have traveled at least 6 thousand miles and the wear of the tire is not much. With respect to mileage, I neither saw an increase or decrease after changing the tires. I would recommend this product to any one.

I purchased the tires in ...

I purchased the tires in May and so far they have handled well and the ride (comfort) is excellent. I have driven in some bad rainstorms with confidence. I am intereted to see how they handle the winter sownstorms (shouldn't have to wait to much longer to find out). I have a Subrau Outback - which is wonderful in bad weatehr and so far the tires are helping with that top performance.

I have bought MXV4's since 2005!!

My 2001 Mercedes Benz CLK320's original equipment was MXV4 and I have now driven over 250,000 miles. My tires have proven high mileage and high reliability/security with an average of 70,000 miles each tire plus gives >30 average mpg. However, I do maintain my CLK320 every 10,000 miles so it's checked and the tires are rotated - regularly. In summary: Excellent tires!!

Excellent tire!

After much online research, I bought a set of primacy mxv4 to replace the OEM on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata. Within 300 yards of the switch, I could tell the noise level had been greatly reduced. The tires have a smooth quiet ride, great grip, and no loss in fuel economy. After 15k miles, they still look new. I highly recommend this model to anyone looking for a grand touring tire.

I intend to buy this tire again!

I purchased this set of Michelins as replacement for the terrible OEM tires on my '05 Dodge Magnum. (they lasted 19K miles) These MXV4's have 41K on 'em, and don't show a bit of wear. I DO rotate them on schedule. My tire dealer reminds me with an e-mail note. They are quiet and provide a smooth ride. I'll replace the OEM's on my '13 Altima with new Michelins when necessary. Nothing I have found after 50 years of driving match the quality! By the way, I use Michelin windshield wipers too.

Safe, secure, efficient, low maintenance

These tires grip pavement through all weather and has no problem charging through a foot of snow or water. I've never skidded once the 9 months I have been driving with these tires. Great traction and doesn't need air filling as often as my old subaru factory tires. Braking with these tires cuts half the time of previous set. Braking is immediate and complete once I apply pressure. I feel safe and secure driving on these tires.

The Only Tire

In my opinion, the only choice in tires is Michelin. I have bought many brands of tires over the years and the ones I wouldn't consider buying ended up coming with a new vehicle. I can't begin to tell you how much extra I had to spend just replacing other brands for Michelin. I would drive a new car off the dealers lot and straight to a Michelin Dealer. The smooth quiet ride, and performance is second to none. Thanks, Michelin, keep up the quality on a product well done. TH of Bonne Terre, MO

Worth the money

I commute 100 miles daily in an AWD vehicle weighing about 4,300 lbs. I had used Michelin tires religiously over the past 35 years, but had gotten away from them and tried a few other brands. That said, my last set of tires (not Michelin) on this car lasted 118,000 miles and were still 4-5/32ds of tread depth. I returned to Michelins, because my last set of tires became very loud, and didn't have much grip in the wet (snow was fine). They are much quieter, and are a dream in the rain and are wearing fine. My SUV and pickup will also be wearing Michelins again!

Discrepancies in reviews are puzzling

Mine: 2014 Honda Accord EX-L V6. 58,000 miles, mostly highway. Just decided to replace because starting to slip on wet/ponding roads. Tread still looks OK. Why some people get poor results is puzzling: driving style? mostly city driving? some vehicles better suited to this tire than others? A review with a vehicle like mine 2 years ago shows similar results to mine.

Great traveling tire

These are the second set of Primacy MXV4s I've purchase for my 2006 Avalon. I have had the new set for several months. The cornering is excellent. I was able to get about 50,000 miles out of the last set, but, feel I could have probably gotten another 5-6000 miles before we upgraded to the new set. There is some road noise that is a bit louder than other models. I tolerate this with minimal issues.
