This ground beef has visible pieces of - well, let’s just say, stuff that shouldn’t be in there to begin with. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt - but just cooked up the last of the three packages and it is horrible. Never again. I am throwing out what I prepared - such a terrible waste.

I hated that they had picked up people car

I bought this in Jackson and was excited to see the packaging. Perfect for freezing.. Now I have no idea what to do with the rest. If you can't chew it you can't serve it.

I really wanted to like this product. We love the pre-packaged Waygu Beef at Sam's for burgers. The packaged hamburger has a longer shelf life than bulk hamburger. This is our primary reason for buying this way. Sam's was out of Waygu, so I tried this one. It's less expensive, so I was hoping it would be a hit. I grilled two packages and the burgers were quite tough. I thought it was the grill temp or something, so I tried pan-frying the last package as burgers. Nope, they were tough too. Hard bits of grissle in the burgers as well. The flavor was okay. Tasted like regular beef. But that texture just doesn't cut the mustard. I won't buy again.

I was excited to try this "Lean" Ground Beef because of the price and the vacuum sealed feature. Unfortunately, the quality of the beef is not as good as that found in a grocery store (including Wal-Mart Grocery, where I buy 93/7 beef frequently). It seemed to be a little more "rubbery" and contained a lot of gristle. I might buy it if cooking for a large group of teenagers who will eat anything, but for my family and friends I will stick with grocery store beef.
