I bought this because I read chicory was supposed to eliminate the bitterness in coffee. The first time I made it using my normal measurements, it didn't even taste like coffee. Then I saw you're supposed to use twice as much coffee! I added about 50% more and it's the most bitter coffee I've ever tasted. It leaves my tongue feeling like I just ate an unripe persimmon. This was a total waste of money.

We love community coffee!!! We hate it if we run out since we cant find it out in Arizona..My family totally loves coming over and the first thing they ask for is coffee..Try the chicory if you like alittle lighter coffee try any of their other coffees with out the chicory..U wont be disappointed..

I find it amazing that such a rich coffee can be so smooth and have just the slightest undertone of a sweet finish. If you like rich coffee but don't like the acidic stuff, this is a slam dunk winner! It's really good with a desert or sweet breakfast treat....think coffee and beignets and you'll understand!

I fell in love with the coffee/chicory combo when I visited New Orleans for a conference. When my local store decided it was too far north to make carrying the product worthwhile, I started ordering online from Community Coffee. I frequent an art studio for weekly lessons and they serve an expensive $15 lb coffee house blend. I can't stand it being so acidic so I always carry my own home brew instead. It is my understanding the chicory is 35% of the blend and it is so so good. Smooth, perfect coffee every time. Please keep it coming and don't change a thing!

My typical go to weekday coffee.. working from home has it's "perks" just like my preference in brewing.. Always delicious with that slight difference in taste compared to others...a dark and thick pour with the opposite taste.. Once you drink the coffee and chicory blend.. others seem bland..like they are missing something... it's my daily 9:00 am highlight...

I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where the local chicory coffee was Gill's Hotel Special. I grew up in Louisiana surrounded by Community Coffee drinkers. Just like most kids, I moved away to experience the world .. and have been looking for ‘home’ for most of my years since then 😂 Thankfully I can order Community Coffee shipped to my home though. Not only does every cup taste delicious, for a bit of time it hugs my heart as if I was sitting at my Momma’s table having a chat and enjoying her smile! I have tried many different coffees over the years and none compare to a good ole cup of Community. And that’s probably it right there. All the other coffees have been just that, a cup of coffee. But Community Coffee goes beyond that. It’s COMMUNITY, it’s HOME!

LOVE IT!!! This one of the smoothest and richest tasting coffees I've ever had. I started drinking Community Coffee & Chicory about 20 years ago and haven't stopped. I compare every other brand to it and nothing compares. I buy an extra bag of chicory just in case I need to add it to something different. I even pack my own when I travel because the hotel coffee doesn't match it. GREAT JOB COMMUNITY!

This is our first bag of the arabica/chicory coffee from the COMMUNITY store. It is absolutely delicious with less caffeine if anyone cares about that. I do! We even use our espresso maker. We use one coffee/table spoon for one large cup of the best tasting coffee you will ever wish for! A BIG THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE MAKING IT!!!!!
