A little bit goes a long way in making superb cold brew. I have become addicted to cold brew rather than hot coffee these days. I don't mean adding ice cubes, just letting cold, filtered water do its thing overnight, filtering out the grounds, storing, and pouring to sip with pleasure. It is so mild compare to hotbrewed that the tummy is happy as well as the tastebuds. The only drawback is that CC does not sell the filter bags that keep the mess down.

I love the coffee and chicory. I first tried it during a trip to the Quarter decades ago. It’s a favorite of the Brennan family of restaurants. Always keep a little extra on hand . Give a contractor or friend an improvised gift of this wonderful coffee and some lovely wine and they’re always happy.

I grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, where the local chicory coffee was Gill's Hotel Special. When I left home, I really missed chicory coffee, so when I landed in New Orleans and tasted Community, I realized my taste buds had found a new home. The roast and grind are perfect for most drip coffee machines, so you get the same great taste every time you brew a new pot. This is a great product, and it's no mystery why it's been around for so many years.

Great coffee, the chicory makes it stand out from all other blends. All other non community coffee blens taste like tea to me. I was in the Navy when I came to New Orleans in 1987, and when I started dating my date introduced me to Community w/chicory. We brought some home from a grocery store in Mississippi. Once it was gone, Chicory coffee is not easy to find when your southern taste buds are hollering. We enjoy it now on a regular basis since I can order it and have it anytime I want...and it is great!
