I unboxed the dehumidifier, plugged it in, set it to 45% humidity and my basement humidity dropped to 45% using a separate meter in minutes. I am waiting to see how it hits my electric bill.

This Frigidaire Dehumidifier model FAD504DWD is an excellent choice. Very quiet running and the other feature is the design of the removal tray for water disposal.

My record is not very good with dehumidifiers so time will tell! Usually I get one to two years out of them before they die! But for now this one runs very quiet and maintains correct humidity in basement.

This went into my basement. I empty in the morning and evening. It took about a week to get the basement to be dry at the number I set (55). It does what it is suppose to.

This unit is much quieter than our last one (different brand). As with all front bin removals, it's a little awkward until you get used to it. Ran it on continuous for 1 day and it pulled 2 bins full of water. I'm very pleased with this unit.

We probably did not have as much moisture in the air as most reviewers as it took several days to fill the pan.seems to be doing the job. Does not heat up the room as some people said.

This Frigidaire Energy Star 50-Pint dehumidifier has been working very well! It pulls the humidity out of my basement. We have it draining automatically rather than needing to empty it by hand. It is quiet and exceeds our expectations.

Plugged in unit and it's been working flawlessly since. Keeps humidity at desired levels and have not experienced any icing, leaks, or abnormal vibrations. A big difference from my previous 3 year old LG product that failed.
