Noisy compressor!

Does good at controlling the humidity, but when the compressor starts it is very noisy and vibrates.

Hey Harper, I am sorry you have encountered this issue with your new dehumidifier. I have an idea of what may be the culprit. If you hare hearing a “buzzing” noise this is most likely coming from the compressor and may indicate the unit is “seizing up” or “locking up” from running too much at too low of a RH% level. Unplug the unit and let it cool down, then set it for a higher RH% level and run for another 24 hours to watch for more noises. I hope this helps! Please contact us directly for further assistance. Quiet But Effective

I bought it approx. 1 month ago. In the past I have owned several dehumidifiers, not Frigidaire. This is, by far, the best I've owned.
