It is working great. The only problem is when it is full it is too heavy for me or my husband to empty so have to have our son do it!

Very effective solution

The dehumidifier was faulty. Blower worked fine but it did not take any moisture out.  Returned for a replacement.

Oops!

Bought this a couple m0onths ago. We just set and it has dried out our basement just as we had hoped.

Great unit

I have had the unit only two weeks, but so far it is performing as expected. The operating instructions were easy to understand.

Works Great!

When the product was first hooked up right out of the box,it did not work. This was on a Saturday so I called the manufacturer, and they said that someone would be calling me back on Monday or Tuesday. They did call, and stated that they would be sending out a form to fill out for the reimbursement as they do not want the product returned, nor do they have any in stock to send to me and the store does NOT carry this product in the store. When I received the letter for the product, It requested the original bill for it, which my wife had already discarded the packing slip with the box, and the original UPC code as well, which had also been thrown out with the box. I would think that the person that I had originally talked to the day that I took it out of the box would have let me know this before the box was discarded, but no I FIND OUT THE HARD WAY! And now the information that was required for the reimbursement was inadvertently thrown away by my wife who did not know that we needed it. I realize this is not your problem, but what can I do now to be reimbursed for the defective equipment? The only thing that I can think of is the serial numbers sticker off of the product as well as copy of my Walmart Credit statement depicting the item. I am NOT a satisfied customer at this time!

The product did not work

This is the third Frigidaire dehumidifier I've bought and I'm totally pleased with all three.   It does exactly what it's supposed to do.  The fan is loud on high and OK on low.  You wouldn't want the machine in the same room where you are watching TV, visiting/talking,  or trying to relax.  The humidistat is accurate and turns the machine on and off per your setting.  Like all dehumidifiers, this unit puts out a lot of heat as it dehumidifies the air.  It will considerably raise the temp of the room in which it operates.   In humid areas, like NC, you will need to empty the condensate bucket at least once a day and more if it runs full-time.  Compared to other brands the machine is priced competitively.  That made it all the more attractive to me.   Suggestion:  Buy the largest capacity machine you can.  It will get the job done faster and shut off instead of running longer periods of time.   BTW, if you are running window air cond units, which don't tend to dehumidify well, run this with them and you'll have nice dry, cool air.
