I purchased this one because the other brand I purchased 3 years ago stopped working after the first summer, and yes it went out of warranty and no one to fix it.

saw great reviews on this unit, it has performed well.. They should design the bucket better, it not that easy to get out and afraid of pulling on the thin plastic lip to get it out, seems like it would break with over use

We bought one dehumidifier and returned it because it didn't do what they promised. Now I have a frigidaire and it works great. Better than expected. The only one small drawback is that if you run it continuously it can heat up my basement

I bought this a couple of months ago, and I wish it had been years ago. I can really feel the difference of the coolness in my house. At night I was usually hotter and now I feel colder, sometimes I need a comforter- in the summer.
