This is the second dehumidifier I've bought for my rather large basement. The Frigidaire is much quieter than my other one (from another manufacturer). I was quickly able to connect a garden hose to drain condensation into a floor drain.

This has worked very well for our mid-sized basement. In the beginning we were emptying the bucket almost daily, within 2 weeks the musty smell was gone and there is no sign of mold.
