This bad boy definitely cools down a room, but it's kinda loud. The dual air system works well as I rarely have any water to remove while using the cooling feature.

I've been using this unit for about a year and it never stops amazing me...low noise...large capacity...splash guard really works...carry handle balanced and handy...very effective removing moisture...good investment but shop for right price.

Much quieter than the one it replaced, and very easy to hook up direct to a drain so it runs 24/7 and is not shut off even for draining ! Was a good buy !
