Bought this several months ago to supplement another, larger capacity dehumidifier that we've been using the past year. This unit had a very good rating for dehumidifying and was well rated for its air filtration as well. Lower day-lighted basement level of home in Vancouver, WA was consistently more humid than the rest of the house. This unit has been working non-stop, filling up about every 12 hours or so since we got it, and we have been able to maintain a humidity of 45%, down from a steady 70%. Can't say that air quality is better, but it is definitely less humid in our basement than it was before. Had a noticeable swelling of floor right outside bathroom door due to leak from bathroom more than 6 months ago. Since running dehumidifier that swelling has almost been completely eliminated, apparently by removing excess moisture.

I bought this dehumidifier about one month ago. It works good. The only feature I wish it had is an option for the fan to run continuously with the compressor turning off and on as needed to maintain the set humidity level. The unit turns off and on frequently. If the fan was on continuously (with only the compressor turning off and on) I feel the sound from the unit would be less noticeable. The fan would also help distribute the dehumidified air more efficiently.

Arrived quickly, easy set up. The tank is a little awkward to dump in the sink but this runs with so much less heat, it's actually bearable to be in the room it's running in. My old one made it hot so very happy with this unit. I will soon be hooking it up to a hose so I don't need to empty it.

I bought this a couple of months ago. It has made the house feel cooler and not "sticky" anymore, without even having to lower the thermostat. It has also helped reduce allergens in the house (by keeping the air dryer). I am very happy with this dehumidifier.

This one is pretty much a copy except for some cosmetic details. There was no learning curve: plug it in and turn it on. A minor convenience: the filter is easily removable and washable—more motivation to change it when the warning light comes on

Our basement has little air circulation, so a quality dehumidifier is essential. This dehumidifier is amazing. I live in a sub-level apartment and it was extremely damp and humid. So, I go to my nearby appliance retailer, and roll this baby into my car. Wow! It's light. Wow! It's attractive. Boom-boom-boom, I turn on the humidifier, turn down the humidity, and next thing you know- acka-lacka-lacka-boom - the humidity is GONE. I mean VANISHED. I mean, I don't know where it is (OK, it went in the bucket, and I remove it every night). Don't waste time, buy this NOW!

You stood behind it so it was a no brainer to want to purchase another one.j. I also own a Fridgidaire double oven absolutely love it.

I bought this item 3 1/2 years ago. Upon plugging it in this summer I found that it was not condensing moisture. The fan would run and the settings appeared normal, but no water. This is not my first dehumidifier so I am familiar with them. A portion of components appear to be under warranty but why would I put money into a dead horse and then find it may happen again?

It is still running faithfully in the basement of my 3 bedroom home. It is hooked up to drain right into the sump pump and does it's job effectively. I recently purchased a condominium and needed a dehumidifier for the basement here. Had no qualms about going with another Frigidaire and it is currently pulling water out of my new basement here.
