This printer is an excellent buy with all the bells and whistles. It does all the things that my techy husband wants it to do and is easy for me (someone who is less techy) to use without being overwhelmed by too many features. My favorite feature is that I can print to the printer from my phone! So easy! we also like the size. We can tuck it aside in our guest room. It`s oa quick setup. From box to set up it took less that 25 minutes. The instructions were clear. We have had home printers in the past and we`ve always had bad luck with them. I`m very happy with this choice and look forward to using this one. I was also pleasantly surprised about how much ink came with it. Overall I think this is a great home printer and would recommend it to others!

Love having multifunctional machine that prints, copies, and scans. Long lasting ink cartridges in separate colors saves when it's time for replacement. Not fast, but good quality for a low cost unit. We recently retired and find it useful for the limited office things we need to accomplish.

I have an older model Brother printer at my office so I was interested in how the newer models compared. The printer itself is rather compact, but does not fit in my Ikea cube shelves (too wide). Once I added paper and powered it on, the next instruction was to unwrap the ink cartridges, activate them, and install the four of them one at a time. This was very straightforward. I was also able to easily add it to my wireless network and send my first print job. Overall, very easy setup and quality performance.

Previous all-in-one was HP8620; great unit. The Brother MFC-J775DWXL is a PAIN! Difficult & excessive time to set up. Will not connect to WiFi after idling or restart; scan & fax takes multiple steps to complete. Ready to disconnect and purchase a new HP

I love the fact that I no longer re-ink and ruin my printer, and that replacement cartridges are reasonably priced. Good amount of paper in feed, slow printing for 2 sided, but works well, and I am happy that there are no problems. Couldn't figure out how to add scan feature, even with online support. Son figured it out!

I was a long time user (12+ years) of another well known All-in-One printer-copier-scanner-fax...until my last purchase which lasted 53 weeks in an low usage job. My first Brother AIO lasted 3+ years and when it stopped, it was an easy decision for a replacement. No regrets, still happy.

I've had this printer for two years at home use and I love it. The color copies are great Quality. I will need another for an office use so ill be purchasing another in the next month. I also have another brother printer that prints black only and I hope they have it stock still, because I had that one over 5 years and I'll need one for an outside office use as well. They're both easy to set up and it's great quality.

Printing on the go is the new norm and this printer masters it all. I loved the ease of use, printing wirelessly from both my laptop and iPhone. Great option for scanning signed docs for email, too. The compact design allows me to simply store it away. I use the printer for travel (boarding passes and itinerary print outs), fun nights out (ticket printing for concerts and baseball games), hobbies ( recipe keepsakes and workout planning). Additional benefits are business printing and getting signed docs turned in from the comfort of home.I`ve always wanted to try the post office self support feature. With this brother printer, I am all-in. The front and back printing in vivid color stands to be a good match for postage.

This all in one printer can print, scan, fax and make copies in color or black/white. It also has the capability to print and scan wirelessly from phones, laptops, tablets and even desktop computers. The LCD/display plate is also flexible and can be angled to change the visual view and does not have to stay flush against the machine. Printer also has a manual feed tray located on the top that opens and closes easily when not in use.Packaging: The printer was packaged especially well and was easy to remove from box and other peripherals. The color cartridges were sealed individually with the ability to tear them open, however the black ink cartridge was not, I had to use scissors to get that one open. Installation: The LCD screen on the printer and the written instructions with visuals made install very easy. I have never installed a printer before and was intimidated by it, but managed to run the install smoothly. It took about 30 minutes to set up and this included a set up the printer had to run through by itself. The directions did state to use starter ink, which I did not find. Instead this printer came with 3 sets of full ink so that was a bonus.An extra nice feature is the ink level indicator. Since the cartridges are indivduals, the indicator shows which color needs to be replaced. So no more wasted ink since only the one color can be replaced if needed.Features: For my use I did not use the cd installation disc but instead downloaded the Brother Iprint and Scan app. This is fantastic! I love how fast it scans and how clear the picture it produces is. This all in one also has the ability to scan straight to Dropbox and email. I found this printer to be a bit loud and noisy. With the wireless capability however I did not have to house the printer right on my desk. I was able to put it in a separate room so when printing and on the phone with the customer, I don`t have to worry about the noise.In my opinion, this machine is easy to use and a great price for all the features and capabilities that is has.

So far my printer is doing great as far as printing, I just find the scanning process to be a bit cumbersome. I had to install another program on my computer to scan, but I have to first go to the scan option for the printer to get to it. Then I have to close the scan program for the printer in order for the other program to actually scan. Just a little tedious
