I like how quickly this machine delivers a well-printed document. It's very basic, which is what I thought I wanted, but I found out from my son that it doesn't print ‘through the air', so to speak. Dangnab it. It must have a connection directly to the computer. Well, so I just fall back on my motto in raising three sons in the country, on a river, with rattlesnakes and coyotes all around, as it also applies to buying a printer that doesn't print ‘through the air': as long as nobody died, it's not that big of a deal. It prints. I'm good. Thanks for reading my opinion.

I have used the brother printer for almost 15 years, starting with the basic 2200 series. It has always been dependable. Needed another printer and I couldn't find anything as good for the price. Great price, easy to connect, faster than the previous generations, toner-saving setting already set as an alternate mode. Nice compact size and seamless duplex printing. Love everything about the Brother printer! There is nothing I can criticize about it.

Easy to set up and to use. I have used it and will continue to use almost everyday.

This printer has been horrible. consistently says no paper when the tray is filled. so frustrating. Definitely returning

It was not wireless and the reviews confused me by thinking it was. Good printer, but product description not clear. I had to return.

Bought this toner printer after years of inkjet that only worked for short periods of time. Love this little guy - only wish it could copy (receipts, etc) not just print or scan off docs.

It is very irritating that the USB cable was not within the package and I can not use it until I buy one . It is not about money, it is about the delay. I feel like to return it

works well and i feel confident it will work well for a long time. you need to buy a printer cord separately (thank you to other reviewers giving a headsup about that)

A really good fast basic printer. Unfortunately it doesnt officially support macOS 11 with drivers (instead they use an annoying app), but the macOS 10.5 drivers seem to work fine anyway.
