This printer is terrible. Do you know what a printer is supposed to do? Whoever is reading this review, you probably know that it is suppose to print, but clearly whoever made it doesn't know. No amount of trouble shooting can make this printer work. Every online tutorial is completely useless. I've changed computers, cords, documents, document type and literally every variable. The only thing that doesn't work is the useless printer.

Not happy with my printer. Having had it only a short time (still under warranty) it stopped functioning completely. Brought to an authorized repair and after 4 months of waiting was told the ordered parts had not yet arrived from Brother. Will never buy this brand again. Still do not have printer !

Recently I was trying to print, from the Internet, a series of owners manual pages ad your printer quit printing the last three pages of the manual. I tried three times to select the unprinted pages without any success. I even tried to select each page separately but the printer would not print the page selected.

I got exactly what I expected. It works as advertisedd and I especially like the fact that it is a laser & not an ink jet. The cost per printed page is much less than with an ink jet type printer. If it continues to function as it has since I received it I will be a happy customer.

My first laser printer so took a few minutes to figure out how to load ink. Old brains work a bit slower. Love the 2 sided feature. So much faster than inkjet printers. Nice and compact, easy to use, quiet. Very satisfied. Perfect for the home office and should be good enough for a small business.

This machine works seamlessly connected on line with several computers. It prints beautifully, responds quickly and the 2 page feature saves time and money! As a small home business, I often need to ship physical products that require labels. It exceeds my expectations ensuring they are printed quickly and effectively. I don't have to worry about the ink being blurred in travel.

I ordered this and rarely used it. Had it off for a few months and turned it on and it will not turn on. $100 for printer + $54 for ink and now i have a fairly unused printer full of ink, that does not work. I want to order another one that does color. Afraid to buy a better one, that might fail again

I purchased the 2300 because I already owned a brother printer in one location and needed another in my other location. The brand is very reliable and trouble free and it is a laser printer as I did not want to deal with the purchase of INK for a jet printer. However, I did not see or perhaps I overlooked the fact that the 2300 does NOT copy!!, which is sometimes very frustrating. When I went back to see if anything about copying was mentioned in the online ad for the 2300, I did not see anything! I just assumed that all printers are copiers too---WRONG!!

Our printer arrived on time and was properly packaged. It was easy to set up and has worked great each time we used it. The copies it makes are crisp and clear and it is very fast. It is an excellent laser printer for the home or small office. Highly recommended!

This printer has many great features such as automatic double sided printing, really fast set up, small compact size, etc. Pros: Very efficient printer. Prints beautifully. Cons: It uses A LOT of electricity - I couldn't even plug it into our UPS as it kept shutting it down to the point where the breakers were thrown. In order to print an envelope I have to physically pick up and turn the printer at least one quarter turn to the left so that I can open the back part and then two levers have to be pressed down while the front, manual slot has to be opened in the front. It's quite a hassle as the printer doesn't quite fit on the computer desk and I can't get it far enough from the wall for that back cover to be opened. Other than that the printer is a good solution so far and the printing is beautiful! Thanks, Kathy
