Love this flooring - in dry locations

Over the past year, we have bought 50 plus boxes of this flooring and installed it in our cabin and out main home. Will be buying more as we transform more of our carpeted floors to laminate. The new "click" system is a bit easier to install than the earlier version. One word of advice is to buy good quality blades for whatever cutting device you choose to use. I recommend the Diablo blades at HD that are rated for cutting laminate. I put one on my table saw for ripping and one of my miter saw for crosscuts. I have given testimony to many people who I see in Sam's looking at this flooring. That said, don't use this flooring in wet places because it WILL swell up. My daughter left a dripping towel on her door know and the flooring swelled (?) up. We put heavy weight (books, etc.) on top of the impacted floor and luckily the swelling went down and you can't tell anything ever happened to it but I still do not recommend for wet areas.

Very disappointed

I loved the color, thickness and built in backing of this flooring. When it was put in, however, I discovered that the joints between boards aren't the same brown and appear extremely light. I have had to (still in process) add brown stain to EACH joint of a large room to make it look right! It also scratched almost immediately after purchase which shocked me. I'm attaching photos of without and with stain and the scratched floor.

Hello, Thank you for your review. The color of the beveled edges is intentionally lighter than the surface of the planks. This makes the individual planks more visible and adds dimension to the floor. What you are describing regarding the scratching is very unusual. After the installation, it is important to protect your new floor by using felt pads on your furniture to avoid damaging the planks.
