These are great - I use for potlucks

I get so many compliments and requests for the recipe when I take these to potlucks. It so easy I don't feel I need credit. Use 1/2 the bag put in crock pot (thaw overnight), add 1 jar of Orange Marmalade spoon over top (do not stir in yet). Put crockpot on high for 2 hours then stir before serving.

Awesome, Gluten Free

These are really good and really convenient. I have found the occasional tough bit or gristle, but even plain ground beef has that. These are so convenient to have in the freezer. Great with spaghetti, with sandwiches, or in a bowl with marina, picante sauce and cheese. A very satisfying and delicious product. We buy a bag every month. Everyone likes them.

Changed Product :(

Used to buy the meatballs at Sam's all the time for parties. Easy and inexpensive way to add a protein to your menu that pleased adults and kids alike. They were also Gluten Free, which was great, as it was easy to accommodate those that cannot eat gluten, without having to buy "special ingredients". Unfortunately (and this seems to be the situation with many products replaced by the Member's Mark brand. HELLO sliced deli meat, I'm calling you out! Member's Mark, what on earth did you do to the roast beef? It's garbage!) the meatballs are different. I don't know what they changed, but the texture is not the same, the taste isn't as good, and the worst part, they are NOT gluten free anymore. What a shame. Quit making changes to good products to save a penny. I'd rather pay the few cents more for GOOD products, than you're trying to save in production.

Great Flavor

I read some of the negative reviews, but perhaps my experience is the exception. I think the flavor and texture is really great. I will admit that there are occasions where something harder, like cartilage or something is present in some of the meatballs. I guess I am not hard to please, but these have been great for me.

changed recipe

We loved these! As we follow a gluten free diet, finding simplicity for the nights that are busy was essential. I loved that these were both gluten free and affordable for our large family...but now they have changed the recipe and they are no longer gluten free.

Super convenient

I bought a bag about a month ago (and it's just my husband and myself), and has made an easy solution for quick meal ideas. Spaghetti and meatballs, meatball subs, BBQ meatball appetizers, even Italian wedding soup! I can't make my own for this price.

Tasty meatball

I bought the Italian meatballs couple weeks ago. My family just love it . Their favorite dish is the cacerolle meatballs that I make on the the Cooper Chef electric skillet ( that I purchased as well at Sam's), where I cook the pasta in the meatballs sauce ( everything mixed together )It has a lot of flavor and we never have left overs for at least a meatball sanduich. I always have one bag in my freezer. It is a fast dish that I make in less than 30 minutes and my family aproves it .

Honest Opinion

These are a great alternative to making your own meatballs. I only use them for party style meatballs where i make a really great sauce to cook them in. The sauce adds additional flavor because without it I would say they are just okay. It's nothing like making your own but these will fill in just fine.

STAY AWAY!!

If you have a bag produced on 11/02/2019 return it or throw it away immediately because your bag probably also has large bone chips! This is the first bag of the Sam's Club brand meatballs I have bought. I would buy the other brand they used to offer before and those were great! These however, don't even taste good. And over the weekend my husband was the first one to take a bite of these meatballs and he bit into a big bone chip that cracked his tooth!! The dentist ended up pulling his tooth today because it was too damaged to fix. My husband is only 32 years old and has never had cavities (seriously it irritates me) and now he has to get an implant. Which will cost us $5,000 in addition to the $500 he paid today all out of pocket because we don't have dental insurance. We probably should have saved the bone chip but he spit it down the sink without thinking and now we don't have the evidence. Just one expensive dentist bill, missed work (unpaid because he's self employed) and a husband in a lot of pain. I'm obviously never buying these again. It could've been even worse, our boys (1 & 2.5) could've gotten that meatball and choked on it. I don't even want to think about how that would've turned out.

NOT GLUTEN FREE but tasty

Just an fyi everyone, these are NOT gluten free. the ingredients list on the back say they contain bread crumbs made from wheat. probably why people are getting sick from eating these thinking they're gluten free. they do taste great compared to other frozen meatballs I've tried.
