Can't recommend

Although I must admit these meatballs are tasty I will be returning the bag. Biting into bits of bone is not appealing. At first I thought my tooth had broken but it hadn't. Out of 4 meatballs eaten 2 contained the hard piece of bone. Yuck!

New and NOT improved

I loved the old meatballs, but one day I went in and they had been replaced by a "new and improved" version that was over seasoned. The new ones are gross, please bring back the old ones.

Old GF ones were much better

We were extremely disappointed when we went to get these a couple of weeks ago. The old ones were gluten free and miles better than these. Please bring back the previous product.

gluten free lover

You recently updated to this new recipe with wheat added. Please go back to the gluten free recipe. These were a staple in our freezer. It seems like Sam's is taking away many of their gluten free options.

No longer gluten free

We bought these meatballs for years because they were gluten free. After calling I found out Sams no longer gets these from the same supplier and they are no longer gluten free. Very disappointing for my family.

Bone Fragments--Horrible Quality

I got these to take to a party, after all, who doesn't love a crock pot of meatballs? I was SO EMBARRASSED when people were spitting out bits of bone and joking about breaking their teeth. Wouldn't even feed these to a dog.

These were my family's favorite

My family used to love these meatballs and would eat them regularly. They were gluten free and affordable. Now, they are "New and Improved" and contain gluten, meaning my husband cannot eat them. So disappointed!

horrible bring the old ones back.

I'm not sure why you guys changed these meatballs but you need to go back to the original ones. The flavor is horrible and so is the texture. I will not be buying these again. Really the rating is 0 it made me click a star.

TOO MANY BITS OF BONE OR CARTLEDGE

I have purchased these in the past and they were OK. My recent purchase was a bad experience. Almost broke tooth and found many cartledge pieces or bone in almost very meatball. Very disappointed.

Thank you for your recent purchase of our Member's Mark Italian Style Beef Meatballs. Your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you experienced this issue with our meatballs. Real meat products are inherent to the possibility of bone. We purchase only deboned meat from certified meat suppliers. On occasion, a bone fragment will get by during the de-boning process. The actual bone fragmenting occurs at the raw meat processing plants during the separation of the various cuts of meat and not at our facility. We will continue to evaluate the latest technology that may be employed to eliminate bones in our meatballs. Our Operations and Quality Assurance associates will monitor this issue closely with our Production associates.
