[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son and his friend saw "Safe to Eat" on the package, and immediately began popping the raw chunks in their mouths. The good news was that I didn't need to heat up the oven. What was left fit on tray for the toaster oven! They were great. They had the taste of hot freshly baked cookies made from scratch, but without all the work and mess to clean up! I'm pick about my cookies. I don't like hard cookies, and I really don't like soft cookies. These were PERFECT! They crunched when bitten or broken, but hot and soft inside. They were exactly like the cookies sold in the stores that just sell cookies - really expensive cookie - only cookies. I've already purchased more. If I have to say anything negative, it would be that I need them sold in larger quantities! We went to the store, baked them and ate them in less than an hour!

The cookies are very delicious and my nephews like them very much! I would recommend this to anyone who wants fast, easy, and yummy cookies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I buy Pillsbury chocolate chip and sugar cookies often. They are always good quality and usually good price depending on the retailer. Sometimes I add walnuts to the chocolate chip ones. Quick and easy and taste delicious.

Pillsbury,Great ingredients, just one question... Can you replace your baking powder with aluminum-free? Aluminum is a huge issue for kids and in so many places, like when parent reheat greasy pizza on foil, cooking, etc. I know it's not a lot but cumulative, cumulative. Otherwise, ingredients are great. Please twerk the recipe if need be for taste but don't give up being a company with a conscious. I've tasted aluminum-free prods and they were great too. It's not necessary. Thanks.

Here let me solve your problem, make both versions of your cookies and let the consumers decide. You keep claiming that you gave customers what they wanted but so far none of your “real” customers are happy. Even coke and Pepsi wouldn't get rid of the original flavor to try new ones. My wife loved your cookies and one night I bought the new ones and she noticed right away that the flavor was bad and left a bad taste. We thought we had a bad pack or something then we noticed on the package the new changes. JUST MAKE BOTH AND GIVE US A CHOICE!

Bought the new and improved choc chip cookie dough 2 days ago and LOVED it! I know it's not good to eat raw dough but that's how much I loved it. Loved the original dough as well. I dont know what after taste these people are talking about and the dough looked like normal cookie dough as well. Anyways, just thought I'd show some positive feedback.

My husband and I were so looking forward to having cookies for dessert tonight. We were deciding between toll house and pilsbury scoop and bake and after a little coxing, I convinced my husband to get the Pillsbury against his wishes. I informed my husband that these are always the ones I get because they are the best! Unfortunately, I did not realize that it was a new recipe. I wish we went with the toll house.... this new recipe is awful. I do not understand why pilsbury would want to change their scrumptious chocolate chips! I will not buy them again. I am actually a little heart broken that I will never be able to taste my favorite cookies again. 

I made the “new recipe” cookies last night. When I would make the “old recipe”,the cookies would disappear before I even had a chance to start the second batch...not so with the new ones!  My kids hated them, I hated them and for being a more “natural” recipe, they tasted bland - but more chemically than any other cookie that I have eaten.  They also left a weird film taste in my mouth!  Sorry but you lost a customer w/4 cookie loving kids...and if the kids refused to eat them leave a plateful, then you know they MUST be bad!! Would give 0 stars if I could

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The original version was perfect. I find that the new version of the Chocolate Chip and Sugar Cookies weren't worth buying. Please return to old version. In reading some of the other reviews, I'm not alone in my opinion of the Old vs. New.
