The original recipe has been my favorite cookies for years.  Why wouldn't you offer both the original recipe and the new weird recipe at the same time?  Let people choose how they want their cookie.  I want all the artificial colors, flavors, preservatives and high fructose syrup back in my cookies.

Love those Pillsbury chocolate chip cookies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My girl friend was 83 and she bought Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie doug to make her cookies for the fire department and church dinners. The fire workers love these cookies and go real fast at church dinners. I will continue to buy and make them for her in her memory Oh, by the way i love to eat these cookies also.

Fun for kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These chocolate chip cookies turned out so good! Such a great little project to do with kiddos when you don't have time to make cookies from scratch. My kids really enjoyed placing them all on the baking sheet to put into the oven. We'll definitely be picking up more of these for days when we need a sweet little activity.

Soft & delicious cookies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this brand of chocolate cookies because you can eat the dough as is or bake them, when you bake them they are “boneless” cookies perfect to pair with ice cream or eat them plain, you can't eat just one, so delicious!

Have loved pillsbury cookie dough for years and years. Passed on this love to my kids until now. The new recipe is very bad. The cookies taste stale immediately out of the oven. It's the first time in my entire life and that we ended up throwing away the cookie dough. In the past it was so good it lasted only a short time in my house. Hillsberry really dropped the ball on this one.

I bought these along with the peanut butter cookie

I bought these along with the peanut butter cookies and they were both awful. I feel like the ingredients are different than they used to be. These had a weird extract flavor and the chocolate didn't taste like real chocolate. maybe they were just a bad batch but I had 2 totally different flavors and both were terrible.

Inexpensive cookie snack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product s inexpensive for a quick snack fix . Always tasty and easy instructions for quick baking. Always purchase these especially when some store put them on sale. I stick up and freeze the package and let it thaw before cooking

This new cookie recipe is garbage!!! When I was a kid, my mom bought two rolls of the REAL Pilsbury cookie dough per month because my siblings and I loved it. I continued eating these cookies as an adult. That was until this new recipe. Now your cookies taste like all of the other garbage cookies. The original recipe had sooo much flavor. This recipe tastes like flour... I understand you wanting to appeal to health conscious people. But you don't do that by ruining the best cookie ever. You create a separate product for those people. And if it's not enough health conscious consumers out there to support a separate product, then they need to stick to fruits and leave my cookies alone! BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL RECIPE!!!!!!!!! This is ridiculous!

I hate when companies decide what we ALL want.  If you want to appeal to the often roaring loud health fanatics then by all means make a cookie for THEM, BUT no one is chowing down on these cookies for the nutritional value but for the nostalgic taste you crave and always enjoy for as long as you can remember.  Please bring that recipe back, this one is not awful but defiently NOT Better!!! Sell the traditional to make our cheat days worth it and make a real low calorie one IF YOU MUST, that allows those who are really wanting that option to have one.   Pillsbury,  you didn't take into account that the majority of the world is not so health conscious,  the majority are over weight and obese because we love good food and we are often too unconcerned to blog about what others should eat UNTIL,  you mess with our favorite foods!!!  You listened to those that scream the loudest but not the ones who buy the majority of your products!!  #BRINGMYCOOKIESBACK

I think this new recipe is terrible.  We made these cookies at least once a week, not anymore.  Terrible terrible terrible!  If you are a cookie fanatic, these are not it.  I am not a fan of tollhouse either, so I hope that Pillsbury will rethink this recipe!  YUK
