I'm not much of a dough eater but I have to admit it was pretty good. Nice knowing you can indulge in something people have loved forever and it is safe. One less side effect to worry about. A little indulgence can't be bad. What is life without a little GOOD fun?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best cookie dough out there! I love that I get to choose what size cookie I want instead of break n bake. It stores well in the fridge and the cookies are sooo good. Pillsbury leftover cookies are by far the best to store overnight too and they keep their crunchy edge but soft center. Perfection!

My family used to bake these cookies EVERY night and had them with milk.  It is so upsetting that the recipe was changed.  We do not like these anymore.  There are no where as good as the original! We have had to switch to Tollhouse which is not as good as the original Pillsbury.  PLEASE change back! 

The new recipe is absolutely disgusting.  I would give it 0 stars if that was an option. I used to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch and was known for them.  When I discovered the Pillsbury ones tasted exactly like my home made ones, I started substituting them and have done so for years.  People are always shocked that they were not from scratch.  I am so glad that I noticed the package stated "new recipe" and gave them a test try before Thanksgiving, because it would have been a disaster had I attempted to serve these. They don't bake well, the texture is off, they don't taste very good and they have an absolutely nasty aftertaste.  I don't think I have ever had a cookie with an aftertaste-- and it doesn't leave your mouth easily. I have no clue how these could have gotten past taste testers.  They are virtually inedible. They certainly don't taste "natural".  I think this is the first time in my house that a batch of cookies has been thrown away.  I guess I will be spending more time in the kitchen before Thanksgiving, because I will have to go back to scratch.  Please bring the original back.  If there are actually people that buy these more than once, then you can have two versions if need be. 

Hello, I had recently bought your new chocolate chip cookies recipe, and I have to say for eating cookies my whole life on sesame street, it was quite a shame to eat these. I have been eating cookies for years, and I always bought these cookies as they were my favorite. But unfortunately, the recipe changed and it tasted like Elmo had diarrhea and then mixed it with expired flour, and then sold it to me. I even bought them a second time and they still sucked. Regarding your “new” chocolate chip cookie dough. They claim to be “more like homemade” ... the original recipe was much more like homemade. I've read some of the customer reviews and I cannot comprehend anyone actually liking the new recipe. The texture is so-so, and the flavor is nearly non-existent! There is virtually NO flavor in these cookies. Except for the unpleasant aftertaste. I find it VERY hard to believe that these are the “natural” ones. I threw out half of the dough. Wasn't worth the electricity to bake them. When you make a terrible mistake like this, undo it as soon as possible!  Candy
