I put four of these in my garage less than a year ago and two of them have already failed. After researching on the 'net I found that others have the same problem. That is, the light just blinks. It is apparently a poor soldering joint inside somewhere. Honeywell is useless when you call them. I've been waiting for a replacement for over a month and another one has failed in the meantime. They're $20 because they're junk.

Been trying to resolve defective shop light for over 3 weeks, LED string not lighting. String cannot be replaced so entire unit must be replaced. Shop light less than 6 months old. Requested replacement, got a Reference Number 3 weeks ago. IDC Texas, vendor, not responding to voice mail request on replacement status and today 8/11/21 phone number down and website does not exist.

I bought a bunch of these some years ago to replace the fluorescent fixtures i my garage. At first, I was very pleased with them, given the enormous amount of nice white light they provided. Towards the end of the wrranty period two o f them began strobing once the got the least bit warmed up. and were replaced my the manufacturer. Within the next few months a couple more began the same antics, and were replaced with a different brand. Now two more have started. Time to look at yet another brand for replacement I guess. I should not that these fixtures do not get heavy (extended) use , so there's really no excuse for them malfunctioning that way other than poor quality.

Like one reviewer said they were great till they quit. Mine were about 2years old and only used on weekends. Two of them stopped working, called the number on the box and they said no problem with warranty except they are on back order. Month and a half later still waiting.Funny you can still order them online and get them in a few days but not for warranty

I purchased one like 6 months ago. The whole reason I bought this one was because it says it's reliable. However after reading the reviews and having one that failed me. I come to find out they are not reliable. The reason I said I purchased this because it said it was reliable is the fact that I like install a light and leave it. Knowing I will not have to do this again for several years. Well this one didn't even last a year. I still ended up buying one more. I hope I just got a bad one. However if this new one I have fails me I will have to find another brand.

Purchase 4 sets of these lights. First two sets stopped working in a couple of weeks. Sam's replaced them. Then the second set stopped working a few weeks later. Sam's replaced those. Now one of the replacement sets stopped working. Sam's doesn't want to replace it and Honeywell has no customer service for these. I will not buy another honeywell product! 5 year/50000 hour warranty means nothing.

I purchased 5 of these units in club at Sam's club. After a little over 1 year of use, 4 of the 5 are failing. Usage is not heavy, and they are on a switched outlet in my garage, so it's not even wear and tear on the switches. They constantly flicker, or fail to get bright at all. Additionally these are not sealed well. They are used in my integral garage, and the tubes for the light strips begin to accumulate small bugs inside of them. Would not recommend, and would recommend to steer clear of any Honeywell products in the future.

Over the past few years, I have slowly been replacing all of the florescent lights in my warehouse. The first LED fixtures that Sam's sold had a very high fail rate within the first 6 months (I would say 2 out of 3). The newer fixtures aren't as bad, but I recently bought 12 and took back 5 because some of the LED's didn't light up when first plugging them in. Some of them only lit about 95% of the LED's, but one fixture only lit 50%. The lights are extremely bright for the first 3- 6 months and then fade a little as time goes on. It's obvious when you know what to look for, but the average person wouldn't be able to see it with all of the other fixtures on my ceiling. I have also replaced the security lights on the outside with Honeywell LED fixtures purchased from Sam's, and after 4 years they have lost almost 50% of their brightness. So I think it's just cheap manufacturing by Honeywell's suppliers. I have a good friend who is an electrical engineer, and he told me that it's not the LED's that fail, it's the electronics that convert our 120vac to the dc voltage the LED's need. Overall I feel they are a cost effective purchase though, since I was replacing fluorescent bulbs or ballasts at least once a year.

I purchased these lights initially in 2019 for the Garage and within the warranty one of them died on me. I contacted Honeywell for a replacement in 2021 and have never heard back from them. I purchased on more this past year because I needed one quickly. This one lasted 4 months. It flickers like a 70's Disco then goes out. I am not even going to reach out to Honeywell again. I know they are only $20 each but they are not even worth $2

I bought 9 of these lights for my garage and basement. The lights are bright and initially worked great. But in less than 1 year 4 stopped working. I thought a brand name like Honeywell meant quality but I will not buy any more. I am currently looking replacements made by another company. I expected better quality products from Sam's.
