I installed this light a year ago as a replacement to the model Sam's had before which lasted only a year. I was hopeful the discontinuance of the former light was indication this one would be better. A year later and the light is ready to be tossed out. The light works randomly, flickers at other times or just doesn't come on at all.

I bought three of these lights about 10 months ago and after 6 months two of them started to flicker, a short time later one went out completely. With the warranty being what it is I contacted Honeywell to only be told they would replace the lights when they become available, I am still waiting. I see reviews where many people are having this same problem. These lights are the only three lights in a hobby room and with one out and another flickering it does not make for a pleasant experience. I find it odd that these lights are still available for purchase but not for warranty replacement. .

LED Shop Light

I bought mine about 4 years ago at another residence for the garage, works really well. Moved into my new home, hung in the garage, and in the summer (still in Las Vegas, Nv) and it ocassionaly turns on by itself. It is not a remote controled unit, only has a pull chain with on/ off, high, med, and low. It's plugged into a constant ceilling outlet (no wall switch) but we have a running joke that the garage is haunted! Ha Ha! I think that the heat may have something to do with it because it only happens in the summer months and maybe once to twice a month at that.But did not happen at the previous place! REALLY ODD! The fixture does not get hot to the touch or even warm for that matter. I've looked up the symtoms and cannot find anything of the sort. ANYONE ELSE HAVE THE SAME/ SIMULAR ISSUE?

Bright

I bought 4 of these for my 3 car garage, had a shop in one bay. Really lit up the place and was very happy. One year to the month later 2 have quit working and you can't fix these, just replace. I bought these as LED's are supposed to last and cost less. They don't.
