Hello Ms Piggy, I'm sorry you are not happy with the linking system with your new shop lights. To be clear, they no longer can be flush mounted, side by side, to make an eight foot light. However, the lights can still be linked together, up to 10 lights on a single circuit, so that only one light has to be plugged in. This has been a great upgrade for most of our customers.
