I am trying to hang these lights in my garage. I had bought two lights earlier, which work perfect. Now the plugs are changed and there is no longer a possibility to connect this new light to the older ones. The new one needs regular plugs and the old one for connecting needs a small triangular plug.

I purchased 4 of these units. Shorlty after installing them, one unit completely went out. Unfortunately for me, thinking they were a long lasting, quality product, I hardwired them when I installed them, which I'm sure voided any warranty. Now I have to take a chance and buy a replacement so my lights will all match.

I added several of these to my garage. The quality of the light output is great. My only criticism is the mounting method for mounting directly to the ceiling: 1. The metal is very thin and can be bent accidentally when trying to get the screw heads into both slots, and 2. The mounting holes are NOT setup for studs that are 16" apart. However, the lights are lightweight, so mounting with a screw and anchor should hold it fine.

When it works it's great. Plenty of light, low energy draw. But I've now gone through THREE lights, and they seem to last less than a year each time. (They aren't in a high-use area, either, so don't really have that many hours on them when they die.) Sam's is good about replacing them, but it's a pain to take them down each time, return, etc. I guess I'll be taking this one back, too. Sigh.

I purchased one (1) of these lights to install over a work bench in a garage to see if I liked it. I purchased four (4) more for the general lighting in the garage. I like them so much, I replaced a working florescent 2X-F40T12 fixture over another workbench. I have a total of six (6) installed for +/- 2 years and they all work as new. I installed most of them on the ceiling drywall using plastic expandable anchors which are more than sufficient because the fixture is very lightweight.

I bought two of these a few days ago. Both defective with serious, dangerous defects. One apparently has a dead short that immediately trips the breaker. The other comes on and appears fine but the end with the switch and the cord coming out gets very very HOT. I mean 180+ degrees hot as measured by IR thermometer after one hour. LED lights should not be hot, this one you cannot touch . I bought similar ones two years ago and they were perfect. No heat. No problems. Returning and looking for a new source. Clearly no QC on the mfg process in China. The name Honeywell used to mean something. Beware

Plant lights are expensive and most are an ugly pinkish or blurple color, which serves its purpose if choosing the most efficient light for growing food. As I researched lights I began to find an overlap between daylight LED shop lights and full spectrum LED plant lights. I started bringing in plants for the winter and began with 3 of these Honeywell LED shop lights that I'm using to supplement light from my windows in a room that plants have not done well in for me. Things are going GREAT so far. Based on my light meter readings, PAR for this light is 414 PPFS at 3”, 305 at 6”, 246 at 9”, and 198 at 12” (with no window supplemental light, just the fixture). 12 hour DLI is 5.0, and my understanding is that is the minimum requirement for lettuce, so if you're growing food you might want to increase light time to 14 hours or so. That said, I think it's perfectly feasible to use a blurple grow light to start seeds and to transition them to shelves outfitted with these great inexpensive shop lights. Keep in mind that all light readings are for directly under the fixture at the distances specified. For each shelf you would need rows of lights side by side to adequately provide light as needed. The great thing is, these lights daisy chain (up to 10 lights) and can easily be mounted to various wire or metal utilitarian shelving systems. Got four of these to hang in a workshop to replace hard-wired florescent lights. Fairly easy to hang, although definitely recommend drilling pilot hoes as one hook snapped right off trying to twist it into wood beam. Got everything linked up, turned the first light off thinking the other three would switch off as well. Big fat NO! What is the point of linking lights if when you enter the space you have to turn each light on individually?! The pull chain is less than 10 inches long, so unless you extend each pull chain when hanging from a ceiling, or happen to be 6 feet 5 inches plus, you'd need a ladder to reach the on/off. Really annoyed I spent so long installing these only to have to remove and return. Very disappointed - would not recommend at all.

Bought 9 of these and 2 have quit working. The first one they replaced. The second one I got no response to my email with all of their requested documentation. When I call the customer service number the message says there are no representatives because of covid and to email them.

I don't ask much of lights, I like when they turn on and I like that they provide light. Two of the lights I received sections of some of the LEDs (a row of 14 leds) have already went out. While the rest of them seem to keep working I don't have faith that these are going to last long.
