I have tried many brands of dog food, from the very expensive to the not so expensive. My dogs will eat some of them for awhile, then they refuse to it. With Purina Dog Chow and their other specialty foods, they eat it month after month with no digestive problems.

I have tried other brands and some made my dogs very sick, so Purina will always be my choice of dog food. Thank you Purina for making such wonderful food that keeps them healthy!

Now at my house you'll find that familiar green bag, too. Nutritional, as well as affordable. My dogs do not care about "all the new-fangled" fashion dog food. Give us Purina, we'll be just fine!

All my dogs have been raised on Purina Dog Chow from the puppy stage to the Complete Adult. The Complete Adult formula provides my dog with enough vitamins and minerals to keep her healthy; also she loves the chicken flavor food. She is 11 years old but still acts like a puppy! Thank you for making this product.

High prices caused me to try cheaper dog foods but had to go back to Purina dog chow chicken . I was cleaning up about 4 time the piles of dog poop per day! The food they were eating was going straight through and not giving the supplements they needed!

My husband and I rescued Lucy, a chocolate lab mix, in July of 2010 from the local Humane Society. She was just a scrawny "throwaway" when we got her. We started her off on Purina Dog Chow and have upgraded it as she got older, now about 8 years old. She eats 16 oz. of the complete adult every evening about 4:30. If I forget, or run late, she lets me know. When I say "time to eat" she comes through that "doggy door" at breakneck speed! I supplement it with six oz. cooked chicken that I spread out over the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the biggest portion being with her dinner meal. When she cleans her plate she gets a Milk Bone treat to clean her teeth. At night, about 8:00 pm, she gets three small Purina Alpo Variety Snaps treats. She is healthy and happy! My husband is now a permanent resident of Life Care, a home for dementia patients, so now it's just me and Lucy. She has a large fenced backyard in which to play and then sleeps in the house at night...and when it rains. She is a "sun worshiper". Lucy makes a wonderful watchdog for me...lets me know if she hears the slightest sound outside, and I love her so much. I have to stretch my dollars now...my husband is on Medicaid and I live on Social Security. I sure could use some help with the cost of Lucy's food. I'm sorry I have no pictures. I'm 75 years old and not smart phone savvy.

I have been feeding my baby boy both Purina Puppy Chow and Purina Dog Chow for years. He has a very healthy appetite! He has always been healthy and this food, I believe, assists in that. His heart is strong, his coat is shiny, and as all dogs should be....he is "regular". I love Purina Dog Chow and recommend this product to all dog lovers.

I have 4 dogs ( I have always had 4 dogs) 2 little dogs and 2 big dogs. I have always fed my dogs Dog Chow and they LOVE IT!!!. You can't beat the price (especially with 4 dogs) I usually have to go to Sams or Walmart and get the 50+ lbs bags which only last 2 weeks. Thanks for making a great product and affordable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a female pitbull named pretty girl and a female Doberman pincher named Gracie. They are very spoiled and I love them like my children. There are so many different brands of dog food but Purina dog chow works best for them and seems to meet their needs. It doesn't cause them any problems and they love the taste of it. Pretty girl is getting older and is almost ten years old but she has lots of energy and looks great for her age. I think this Purina dog food has just the right ingredients for her and Gracie to stay healthy and active. Gracie is five years old. I would definitely recommend Purina dog food and their puppy food was recommended for us to use by our vet when we first got our dogs. I am very happy with this brand of dog food and will continue to feed it to my dogs.
