Gave Dog Chow a try after another 'recall' on super premium food, with who knows where it was made ingredients. Dogs loved your Chow!! Boyfriend loved the easy yard/walk clean up, so we bought another big bag and half way through that bag it hit us - not only was life with the dogs easier (all eating same food, walks/cleanup very predictable) but their coats were softer and shinier. Gamechanger!! We'd give it 10 stars for the silky coats alone, but they absolutely love it too!!

We have been purchasing Purina Dog Chow for a few years now for our dogs who are pets, and our hunting dogs (both Beagle and Walkers). Even after they have been hunting all day, they still look extremely healthy and still look like they have kept all of their weight. Their coats are shiny, and they love the taste. Years ago we fed another brand, and didn't have the same success we have with Purina. We will continue to feed Purina Dog Chow. Good Quality.

I've had my dog Macy for eight years, and she's ten years old now. She was raised on Purina Puppy Chow, and then switched to what is now Purina Dog Chow Complete Adult when she was one year old. Her vet couldn't be more pleased with her health and her weight; we feed her according to the recommendations on the bag, and her weight is the ideal weight for a dog her size. Her black coat shines in the sun light, and she is physically and emotionally fit. The extra benefit in feeding her a quality food is that she has never needed supplements. It's the only food we buy.

I don't even know where to begin to tell you guys about this food… My dog (Marles, 9 years old) has been very fat all his life. He has always eaten dog kibble and been very happy! We decided to spice his taste buds up and give him this, WORST mistake of our lives. It started off slow, he loved it so much… Then the night came, my poor Mario threw up and pooped everywhere all night. It was ENDLESS amounts. My poor baby is a tiny dog, so once he ate this he was struggling. It has been a week and he is still pooping all over my floors, he's even pooping right now! I will NEVER be purchasing this sorry excuse of doggy chow ever again. Purina, get it together before my dog gets sick for real. I haven't slept in 2 days because he is constantly pooping everywhere, I'm going to have to replace my carpet he just couldn't hold it in. My children have stepped in it and we have wasted so much soap cleaning EVERYONE (Dog included).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have free fed all my dogs Purina Dog Chow for many years. Most were large dogs who lived healthy lives until they were 11-16 years old. I trust Purina, I recently adopted 2 dogs and the rescue place wanted what they called a "high quality food", but those foods seem to get recalled all the time. I have never seen a Purina product (cat or dog) get recalled, so I trust my dogs to the real high quality of Purina. Also, when I switched the new dogs to Purina, their stomachs settled down.

All three of my dogs like the food and so far I have not had any issues since they have been on it like fatigue, bloat, vomiting or diarrhea. Will continue to buy this brand.

I have used Purina Dog Chow for over 30 years. My husband and I ran a small rescue for many years, and would only feed Purina Dog Chow. All our rescue dogs thrived on your product. Even now, retired and still having 17 dogs, Purina Dog Chow it the food that keeps all my dogs healthy and happy. I must say, as much as I love your food, I don't like the photo on your new bag.
