[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] my senior adult dog who was quite happy with his Purina SENIOR dog food refused to eat all the different shapes in the adult when we were forced to switch over to complete adult when Purina stopped making senior. he eats it now after we tried other brands and flavors but hes still not too happy

The dog treats were little pieces compared to last few bags. Normally pieces are wide long pieces. The bag of dog food had approximately 1 inch of crumbled up dog food in bottom of bag. Seems like the machine didn't get cleanedd out and we got a mixture of crumbled up dog food with normal pieces of food. Seems as if bags are not being filled with product like they use to be.

I Have 6 dogs I try different brand of food but they didn't eat them.When I found Dog Chow they love that they start eating good and I know is a great product because when you open that bag you get that smell of the food and other brand you dont I have been feeding my babies with Dog Chow over 5 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purina Dog Chow is the only dog food our two dogs (different breeds) will eat. We've tried switching brands and it just would not work. Both dogs refused to eat until they received Purina Dog Chow complete adult chicken flavor. They are also more active and very satisfied.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My schnauzer is now 4 years old and I have continued feeding her Purina dog food products. I admit to having tried other brands but she is so persnickety, she will not have anything to do with them...so I land up giving them to other dog owners

I have had many different large dogs and after trying several different types of dog food.... I have been feeding them Purina.. This started in the early 70's and am feeding it to them today... I now have a large german shepherd and a Great Pyranies.... It keeps them healthy and in good shape....

This is the only food he can tolerate. My dogs are active, happy, healthy with beautiful coats. Truly appreciate your products!

The only dog food we've ever used. My Grandfather raised his hunting beagles on it. My mother fed it to her Shepherd. And my family feeds our Leina. She loves it so much, she has her own way of letting me know when the bag is getting empty. She will drag the bag into my bedroom. My son is Autistic, and Leina is his companion animal- so her health is as important as his. The quality is unrivaled. It is the only brand I trust for my "Grand-dog".

My husband and I rescued Lucy, a chocolate lab mix, in July of 2010 from the local Humane Society. She was just a scrawny "throwaway" when we got her. We started her off on Purina Dog Chow and have upgraded it as she got older, now about 8 years old. She eats 16 oz. of the complete adult every evening about 4:30. If I forget, or run late, she lets me know. When I say "time to eat" she comes through that "doggy door" at breakneck speed! I supplement it with six oz. cooked chicken that I spread out over the day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the biggest portion being with her dinner meal. When she cleans her plate she gets a Milk Bone treat to clean her teeth. At night, about 8:00 pm, she gets three small Purina Alpo Variety Snaps treats. She is healthy and happy! My husband is now a permanent resident of Life Care, a home for dementia patients, so now it's just me and Lucy. She has a large fenced backyard in which to play and then sleeps in the house at night...and when it rains. She is a "sun worshiper". Lucy makes a wonderful watchdog for me...lets me know if she hears the slightest sound outside, and I love her so much. I have to stretch my dollars now...my husband is on Medicaid and I live on Social Security. I sure could use some help with the cost of Lucy's food. I'm sorry I have no pictures. I'm 75 years old and not smart phone savvy.

He said that poor dog had been treated badly so it was going to be nothing but the best for his new baby. He bought her Purina Dog Chow Chicken Flavor and that's the only food she's eaten in 4 yrs now. She's a mix breed with a beautifully shiny coat that people everywhere comment on. We trust Purina to protect our precious pooch's digestive tract.
