I really like the concept of this product. I love the idea of putting the bar in and not worrying about running out of dryer sheets and accidentally dropping them on the floor and slipping. I did find that my bar only lasted a few weeks though with a family of 7 I did expext it would last less time than it claimed. Overall I am not sure that I would use the bar regularly as often as I would need to replace it. Also, I didn't feel as though it did as good of a job on sttic cling as traditional dryer sheets. The fact that we are larger family means we are looking for convenience that makes sense. While this is a very convenient product, having to replace it so often makes it less so.

I am a big fan of this product. My dryer dries the clothes of five adults so my dryer bar is put to very good use. With the sheets, I was always trying to remember where I'd stuck the box of them last or forgetting that I'd run out. I love that I don't have to give it a second thought. The fresh scent was a little less strong than with the sheets but not so much that it would keep me from buying the bar again.

The Bounce Dryer Bar was so simple to install that I actually installed it in the dark. I'm not kidding. Our laundry is in the basement (otherwise known as the dungeon) and when I went down there to start using this product the light was burned out. I didn't realize my husband had installed a light elsewhere, but that's beside the point. The point is that this product could not be any easier to use. If I can easily install it in the dark, you know that you will have no problem at all installing it in the light! Here's how the Bounce Dryer Bar works......... You remove the bar from the packaging and peel off the paper on the back side of the bar to reveal the sticky adhesive. You open your dryer and place the bar (sticky side down) on the side wall of the dryer. All you have to do is hold it down for 15 seconds and you are good to go. How many times have you forgotten to put a dryer sheet in with a load of laundry? Or have you ever been doing laundry and ran out of dryer sheets? Well, that can be a total bummer and with the new Bounce Dryer Bar you do not even have to think about it. You just toss in your laundry and forget about it. You end up with months of great smelling laundry as well as softness and static control. Granted, a dryer sheet may not seem like a very big deal, but in the life of this busy mom, it's just one less thing to have to worry about. I think we all want to find ways to make our lives a little bit easier and the new Bounce Dryer Bar does just that! The bar lasts for three months and after it runs out, you can simply buy a refill pack. The holder stays in the dryer and you just replace the bar. So you only have to think about it four times a year, instead of thinking about dryer sheets for every load of laundry.

We are a busy house in which Mom and Dad are both in Nursing School. 3 boys have had the 'opportunity' to take over many of the chores, Laundry included. The Bounce Bar makes it just that much easier to do laundry and do it right. We have had no issues with residue, buildup, stickiness, or issues with the bar's attachment itself. It works just as well as the Bounce dryer sheets. After my complementary bar ran out, I immediately bought another to replace it and will continue to do so. Thank you!

I constantly forget to put dryer sheets in my dryer with the wet clothes. This is perfect because I never have to remember anything! I've had my bar for a few months and it is still going strong. So much so, I just bought a replacement bar to use once this one is done. As for static cling, I don't really notice a difference between this and the sheets. I sometimes would add a sheet in with it in the harsh winter months when static is insane, but I didn't feel like the sheet helped any more than just the bar.

I have always loved the smell of Bounce, and the first thing that struck me about the Dryer Bar was that it made not only my laundry, but my whole laundry room, smell fresh and clean. For about the first week of use, I was very pleased, and didn't miss dryer sheets at all. In fact, I really liked the convenience of not having to remember to throw in a sheet. But after the first week, or week and a half, I noticed that my clothes were getting more and more static. The freshness was still there, but the static control had slacked off considerably. I don't recall exactly how long it took me to toss a dryer sheet in with the bar, but it wasn't nearly as long as the manufacturers say the Dryer Bar is supposed to last. I didn't have any issues with the adhesion of the bar, though, as some of the other reviewers have; it stuck right to the dryer and stayed there with no problems. I wouldn't necessarily say this is a bad product - like I said, it was great at first - but I wouldn't recommend it simply because of its ultimate ineffectiveness against static cling.

The bar comes out of the holder every time I use it. It breaks up in the dryer and makes a mess. I tried using the chunks that are supposed to last about 3 months each and they were crumbs within a couple of weeks. A very expensive and messy way to achieve some degree of softness to the laundry. Not recommended until the product can stay in the holder.

Color me dumb... I tried more bars than I care to admit because I really wanted this dryer bar idea to work. A 4 month bar last about 3 weeks if I am lucky. All the kids age gone so it is just Husband and me. 2 complete set of clothes a day, dish towels, and sheets as needed and the bar is down to the grid under the bar in 3 weeks (sometimes less). The bar does not control static as advertised and it collects lose thread which embed themselves into the bar. After a few loads you have to peal off the thread or the bar cannot do the job it claims to do. I really wanted this bar to work, but the truth is it doesn't do what it claims, nor does it last anywhere near as long as it says it does. On a positive note, I have never experience the bar breaking up or the holder attached to the drier wall detaching it self. I love the concept, but the reality is not what Procter & Gamble claim. After reviewing the handful of reviews regarding this product more than 90% were BAD. P&G needs to go back to the drawing board and redesign this product or take it off the market all together. Great idea, poor execution! I only gave this product one star because giving it NONE was not an option.

Actually, I had no problems with this bar at all. As a matter of fact, my washing machine hardly cleans clothes at all. It is old and slowly "failing." Sure, the clothes are cleaned by the detergent and water, but there is always something missing once they are done. The dryer bar did the trick - made the clothes smell so nice, clean and fresh when they came out of the dryer. I really liked using this product and was sorry when it was gone.

I was really excited for the Bounce Dryer Bar when I first purchased it because my husband is notorious for not using dryer sheets. However, I have had to take it out because it no longer sticks. I haven't even gone through the first bar! I followed the installation instructions, it's stuck to a flat surface on the side of the drum. Now I have to replace the whole thing or go back to regular dryer sheets. Very disappointed!
