I love the idea of this bar, but both times I've used it the tape gives out and all I hear is a low THUD during the dryer cycle...either make stronger tape, like command strip adhesives, or enclose extra ones

i like the product. it's easy and you don't have to worry about remembering the sheets. but i can't find the replacement bars. the store i bought the starter set doesn't sell them. neither does the local (national) drug store. PLEASE HELP!

I love the product, but you have got to be kidding, if you think that we will buy the whole thing everytime we need a new refill!!! None of the Woodstock/Atlanta stores that I've checked, just have the "refills!!"

it would be great to just stick and dry, but it doesn't do a thing to combat static cling like dryer sheets do. with 2 shedding doggies, we need it to remove lint and hair. disappointed. i took that thing out after 3 loads = money wasted

this bar would not stay stuck to the side of the dryer and when it came off it would leave bits of the bar melted to the inside of the dryer. Terrible qualtiy product.

This got rid of the pesky dryer sheets that end up everywhere after I do the laundry and it was so easy to forget about it once it was installed! I didn't notice any residue. However, we did have to discontinue its use after our baby was born a couple months ago. The bar seems to last a long time and was pretty sturdy once stuck.

I bought this with high hopes however I pull my kids sweat clothes and underwear out of the dryer and they are all sticking together with static... it's pretty bad! I gave it about a month and it didn't get better, so now I am back to adding fabric softer into the washing machine. I really don't notice a scent at all, and it could be working for softening; I honestly don't know

I love the idea of the dryer bar. It is so easy to just put a bar in and replace it once it wears away. After reading other reviews I can say I've had no issue at all with the holder saying stuck in the dryer. I would say I bought my first one a year or so ago... the original holder is still holding fast. I've also had no issue with the actual bar breaking up or falling apart. I also haven't had any clothes come out with stains or waxy marks. I love the Outdoor Fresh scent. It isn't over powering... but I can smell it just enough if I directly smell the clothes. As for static control... it seems to depend on the season. I've found that in the Spring and Summer it works well. The clothes don't stick together as I fold laundry. No static shocking. In the late Fall/Winter the dryer bar really doesn't seem to do the job for me though. We tend to have very drying Winters. I find myself needing to throw in a dryer sheet even with the dryer bar in the machine. Overall... I'm pretty happy with the dryer bar. I plan on continuing to purchase refill bars. Maybe in the future a stronger strength will be available for Winter?

I do a LOT of laundry for my family of five, including two teenage boys who insist on using a fresh towel every time they shower. The Bounce Bar has been great - I find it as effective as dryer sheets in terms of static control and freshness. We fold most of our laundry in the bedroom, and those pesky used dryer sheets invariably end up under the bed - the Bounce Bar eliminates that annoyance. My first one lasted a long time, and I liked it so much that I just replaced it. Towards the end of its life, I noticed that its ability to control static was reduced, but I had plenty of warning and time to replace it.

I put the bounce into my machine as soon as I got it. I liked the smell and thought it would be great. I used it a few washes when I noticed it was chipping a bit, nothing bad, just struck me odd. IT soon discolored some and I began to get worried about my clothes. The chipping continued and I found pieces in the dryer. After about a month I got a new dryer. My washer went and we decided to get a new set. I was not able to "restick" it so put the bar in a sock to protect clothes and dryer. I also thought maybe it would not chip on my clothes any more. I do not think I will purchase the product again. I think it needs a little more fine tuning.
