Love this TV

After our very expensive Mitsubishi TV went out after 4 years we decided to spend a lot less this time. Sam's club was a huge part or this, but this TV received excellent ratings and we loved that the frame of the TV was super thin. This allowed us to get a bigger screen for the same space. We have this TV hooked up to wifi for the apps which is great for easy Netflix and other apps. We have not had one thing to complain about the TV. Our only problem with our purchase of this TV is that Sam'a club did NOT require a signature for delivery so we had a huge TV in a TV box delivered to our house with nobody home. Thankfully it was still there when we got home, but I am sure there are neighborhoods where it would have been gone. That was a HUGE con for ordering a big ticket item from Sam's club again!

Remote doesn't work

Bought the TV today and the remote does not work....according to tech support you have to have the remote to set up the tv and take it off of store demo mode.....not very happy it will take 7-9 business days to get a new remote and set up our tv! We are still able to watch it and it seems good quality but being it's in store demo mode we have constant commercials running at the bottom of the screen. We can't return just the remote we would have to return the entire tv and the stores in our area do not have any more. Very disappointed today.

Why did I wait?!

Needed to upgrade my home theater room with new HD TV, but I had no idea how much better the picture would be. We have 2 Phillips LCD sets in the house, but this replaced an older Hitachi projection set. WOW!! this has a better picture than any of the others, and set up was super easy. The super online price sealed the deal and I was delighted with the home shipping. All in all, I highly recommend this product and my experience at SamsClub.com.

great tv

It was a black Friday deal. Ordered the tv on line, no crowd or long line, and was surprised to have it delivered just 3 days later! A great picture and the internet apps are very user friendly, I have been enjoying it for a month now and am still learning more about the tv every time I use it. Very satisfied with the TV and Sam's Club.

SO SO

I've had this tv for about 6 months now.. The problems I have with it is the tv will randomly turn off, I don't know if its some kinda setting, but some days it will turn off by itself several times. The wifi takes FOREVER to load up Netflix & Amazon...And the picture (lighting# constantly dims #with the auto dim turned off). Save your self some money and pass on the "smart tv" and invest in a regular tv and ROKU box instead... On the plus the sound is really good and crisp ....

Picture out after 5 hours of use.

We purchased this 50 inch tv on 8/16/13 but did not set it up until 9/1/13. The box and the tv showed no damaged. After 5 hours of use the picture went out but the speakers kept playing on. Even pressing the menu or V button on the remote nothing shows on the screen. We already have two 24 inch smart tvs that have had no issues and with these two tvs we know how a Vizio tv is supposed to work. Before the picture went out we watched a few channels on cable, kids played the PS3 on it, and we were watching Netflex when the picture went blank. We are going to return this tv and try it one more time. If the second tv has issues with it, then we will be looking for a different brand.
