Really appreciate that this one product handles our detailed 1040 return and makes it very quick to take care of our kids' filing their 1040EZ forms.

Been a customer for years and have always been satisfied. It takes about 2 hours per year and that's really worth it.

Rocked my refund

I thought the fee for the State E-File was excessive.
Duplicate financial partner Imports were not recognized and caused a time consuming problem.

Overall I really like the product

Your software takes entirely too long to startup. the messages are less than cute for veterans of the product.

Still slow on entry

Easy to use. I love the automatic transfer of information from the previous year. Easy to put in information of donations.

Great Turbotax tool

Had Social Security benefits from 2016 paid in 2017 and software guided me to properly fill out information from previous years filing.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and would not prepare myself if it were not for this product.

This product is a very good value.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now. It was my life saver during my self employed years, my salaried years, and now in my retirement years !

Not buying turbotax next year

I don't think TurboTax is a class act. A couple examples:
* TurboTax does not automatically figure out if my CA state tax refund is taxable. I paid AMT last year AND used TurboTax '16 and yet TurboTax '17 makes you figure this out for yourself by going back to last year's TurboTax and grinding through it laboriously. What don't you guys understand about software that you can't automate that process and make it invisible to the user?
* At the very last stage in filing my return, TurboTax would NOT let me file because my employer put $1900+ towards CA-SDI. The limit for CA-SDI is $998. Why is this flagged at the very last step AFTER going through all the check routines??? I checked my W2 and sure enough, my employer got it wrong. So why am I blocked from filing an accurate return that reflects my actual W2??? I figured out a way to finesse this rediculous problem, but it was 20 minutes of thrash before I got there. Thank you TurboTax may I have another.
* There are numerous other clunky aspects to TurboTax. It is anything but slick.

Seriously, do you guys talk to your customers?

Not world class software

Please don't keep asking do you want learn about updates to the tax law. Ask it once when the return is first started and then skip it each time the return is opened. And for goodness sake, don't ask the user to confirm the fact that they don't want it. IT'S A NO BRAINER. Why annoy the user?
