TT PREMIER 2017 PC TURBO TAX DIGITAL DL

This is probably my 15th year using Turbo Tax, and while dong taxes is not a fun time, Turbo tax makes the effort as painless as possible.

Easy Steps to Follow

Been using turbo tax for over 10 years. Was sold on it when I compared it to HR Block and they weren't able to get me any more money than turbo tax.

Love turbo

Overall very good. Trouble retrieving my previous year's taxes after I started the return and opted out the first day.

Gary 2017 TurboTax

It took me 2 days with a windows tech to download a program compatible with this disc. Very disapointed and frankly, discusted.

Turbo tumble

TurboTax makes the data entry very simple, but it always takes me forever to get it to open and run.

It's a snap once it starts running

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years. I would never use another tax product! I wonder when it will become virtual ?( Disk less)

Rocked My Return

Cannot excuse you for selling me a bad software copy - could not get the form 1040 to download. Your biggest issue in over 25 years.

Suspect I could not e-file due to a large number of deductions I claim. Loyal turbo tax user since around 1994.

Taxes

The program is easy to use,gets your report done correctly and is very detailed so you dont miss deductions.

Super Easy

Would like to see more insight has to how to reduce taxes relative to business expenses. 401K and IRA are easy to understand.

PayTooMuchTaxes

I don't think TurboTax is a class act. A couple examples:
* TurboTax does not automatically figure out if my CA state tax refund is taxable. I paid AMT last year AND used TurboTax '16 and yet TurboTax '17 makes you figure this out for yourself by going back to last year's TurboTax and grinding through it laboriously. What don't you guys understand about software that you can't automate that process and make it invisible to the user?
* At the very last stage in filing my return, TurboTax would NOT let me file because my employer put $1900+ towards CA-SDI. The limit for CA-SDI is $998. Why is this flagged at the very last step AFTER going through all the check routines??? I checked my W2 and sure enough, my employer got it wrong. So why am I blocked from filing an accurate return that reflects my actual W2??? I figured out a way to finesse this rediculous problem, but it was 20 minutes of thrash before I got there. Thank you TurboTax may I have another.
* There are numerous other clunky aspects to TurboTax. It is anything but slick.

Seriously, do you guys talk to your customers?

Not world class software

Please don't keep asking do you want learn about updates to the tax law. Ask it once when the return is first started and then skip it each time the return is opened. And for goodness sake, don't ask the user to confirm the fact that they don't want it. IT'S A NO BRAINER. Why annoy the user?
