Picks up data from prior years saving lots of keystrokes and time. (All personal data, prior capitol loss carryovers, equipment depreciation, and favorite charity names.) Calculates gains and losses, taxes due and routes refunds accurately.

Pretty straight forward and easy to find the answer to questions asked, except in one area. I am retired and get two pensions and two 1099-Rs. It's rather difficult to determine what "type" they are, Qual an Non-Qual and in what States is what.

If your taxes are not exceptionally complicated and you don't have a lot of foreign tax credits or other problems where Turbo is a bit weak, then you should be good to go.

See pros and cons: Pro: Confidence done right, knows what forms I need to and don't need to file. Con: Makes me fill out too many details, IRS doesn't require--thus takes longer than necessary

There seemed to be a bit of a glitch at the end when I put in the date I did my taxes. On the very next screen it said I entered the date incorrectly, but it showed correctly. I retyped exactly the same and Turbo Tax accepted it.

Very aggravating to read the community emails about aggressive changes that direct calculations to Business Income when the reporting is on a 1099 MISC from a University Stipend.

I have been using this program for years. This is the worst upgrade over a previous year. 2016 is not really compatible with the changes made in 2017. Will be using a different tax program for 2018

I have used TurboTax for many years and have found the product to be great. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Makes a daunting task much easier and less stressful!! I give it 3 thumbs up!!!

I was dreading filling out the 1099-B information since company owned stock had some spin-offs. Turbo Tax made it very easy to import and fill out the appropriate forms. Very easy to do.

I have been using Turbo Tax almost since their first version almost 30 years ago. Each year, it helps me organize my information at the same time as I am filling out my tax forms. This year, everything ran smoothly.
