We have a 2020 Equinox with Michelin Premier LTX tires. The car has 16,700 miles on it. We are in our late 60's. We don't drive hard. I have kept the air pressure correct and rotated them faithfully. The 2rear tires are at 3/32 and the two fronts are at 3/32. That is terrible tire wear. The tread is even across and no uneven tire wear. We are very disappointed with these tires.

These tires came with my new 2018 Equinox and I was happy because of the Michelin name. My car has 19,000 miles on it and it was recommended by the dealer that I replace them before winter. I watched the tread wear quicker than expected with each scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I was shocked when I saw that they were rated for 60,000 miles. I was definitely expecting better results. Going with a different brand of tire.

Had tires for 3.5 years on new Chevy Equinox, tread down to almost bald at 38,000 miles versus a 60,000 mile rating, very disappointed. Had Michelins previously and they were outstanding, not sure what happened. Hopefully my local tire dealer will pro-rate, otherwise will change brand.

I went back to the tire shop returned the "NASCAR blimp" brand and bought these Premier LTXs instead. Right off the bat the car was quiet and smooth. Overall these seem to be great tires. Good wet traction. Haven't tried them in snow yet since it's July but they should do alright compared to other Michelin's I have owned. In terms of the wear life of these tires that everyone seems to complain about...I don't quite understand why Michelin decided to take off 2/32nd of rubber from the beginning and still say they are safe. A new tire should come with at least 10/32nds of tread not 8/32nds. In 90% of the US that would be fine but in the midwest where snow flies, I disagree. If they wear prematurely there is a warranty for a reason. Overall I think these tires will serve anyone well.

As others have posted, these tires might give you 20,000 mile of treadwear. A pity, because everything else about them were superior to the OEM Brigestone tires. These were the worse wearing tires I've ever bought, for not being high performance summer tires.

I just bought four new Premier LTX tires. I was amazed with the great ride it gives. Its like I have a new car. It even handles better. This is not the same car at all with these tires on it. I hope I am as happy with them with milage on them as I am very happy with them now. Thanks for a great tire. I have always run Michelins on my vehicles and this has to be one of the best.

Purchased a 2014 Durango RT+ Rear Wheel Drive 5.7 HEMI in November 2019 and the OEM Goodyear Fortera's were horrible. Our family has been driving on Michelins since 1969. Have LTX M&S on 2 Suburban 2500's & a Roadmaster Wagon. I drive hard & fast, I Pull trailers fast as well. Some of my SK boat trailers have H speed rated tires. Must have Michelin V rated Extra Load performance tires. OEM size 265/50VR20 not available from Michelin in Extra Load. Michelin does build Extra Load 255/50VR20XL & 275/45VR20XL sizes. The difference in Revs per Mile is not enough to interfere with ABS system so Bought a Pair of each for experimental purposes. Read all the reviews about Great performance and 20,000 mile Tread Life Expectancy. Hey Guys, This is a performance tire, if you want tread life get Defender LTX M&S. Drove a Durango RT with LTX M&S Defender non extra loads and would not put them on mine, Great ride, Not A Performance tire. So far these tires are Fabulous, Hard Launch, Great Handling, Grip in the Rain at triple digit speeds, Not Noisy or Hard Riding, Very Predictable Breakaway when at the edge of traction. Bought this tire 2 years ago for its praised initial reviews. Driven them 28,000 miles on my 2015 Grand Cherokee 4x4 and they are already 100% gone. They were fair initially but as time went on the tires got so loud it was unacceptable for the price of this tire. Rotated every 5,000 miles on the dot. Caused the car to make loud grinding noises and hum from them was excessive to point where I would get a headache from driving my car. Thought it was a drivetrain problem with the car but changed out tires and now car is silent. Have been loyal Michelin customer and these tires are not Michelin quality.

In under 25 thousand miles, i have had to replace 8 tires due to tread wearing out. Thats 12k miles per set of tires, this tire is a complete waste of money, time and effort. And should never be purchased by anyone. I will never purchase michelin tires for the rest of my life.

Very disappointed with tread life. These were OEM when I bought the car and I got 32,000 on them replaced with a new set from an authorized dealer. Got 20,000 on them. I only drive 5,000 miles/year now that I'm retired. I keep tires balanced, rotated and inflated properly. I'm on a fixed income, so new tires so soon are not something I want. They made an adjustment, but still.........
